Just started playing the steam version, and it's great so far. But I can't figure out how to remove constructed walls.

It's in the dig menu now. Same option as removing up ramps— it's also used to designate removing constructions. Curiously enough it now seems to be done by miners. Perhaps as a part of moving towards siege changes that let them break through walls?

Interesting that deconstructing is no longer a task anydorf can do. That means dorfkids can no longer take the task up!

Disappointing for modding, because implicitly pickaxes apply the mining of ores and nations without pickaxes such as elves will have a significant amount of difficulty being included impartially to "All Races" kinds of mods.

It should really be its own weapon/item token to be able to deconstruct buildings (like sledgehammers/hammer tools or axes) but i digress.

Won't be an issue in a week or so when "Steam version" is no longer a thing and it's just 50.0x for everyone. We've never split up the forum to discuss old versions before.

Yeah, can confirm that construction removal is only being picked up by miners. And it doesn't seem to want to allow a miner without a pick to give it a go either.
