RECRUITMENT REPORTS 10PUNCH! recruit Atla:
Name | Known Powers | Traits | Fame
Atla | Can turn Gigantic | Happily Swapped, Serious, Resourceful | 0
Atla is not a very tall woman in her untransformed state. She has made herself a very serviceable stretchy outfit for when she grows.
"I'm glad to join PUNCH!," she says with a soft southern accent, "That was mighty impressive work you did at the mall to stop Doppelswap."
The Chorist, Mistress Extra and Princess Professional all agree, it was very fine work.
"Y'all should know, I can't really be upset about how it went down," Atla says. "He mighta been slicker than owl shit, but I wouldn't've had this body, these powers, without Doppelswap. We just have to make the best out of the situations we find ourselves in."
The Watch lets go of Black Box.
"Don't worry, I've gotten everything I need from you," Black Box murmers as they leave.
The Watch holds a tryout. [1+2-1] Two heroes attend:
Name | Known Powers | Traits | Fame
Bantum Boy | Short-Ranged flight, Hyperkicking | Child, Crazy, Happy | 5
Lady Lefant | Ranged Fabric Control | Ostentatious, Witty, Self-Assured, Hates Plumbaris | 8
The Watch recruit both of them:
Bantum Boy | Short-Ranged flight, Hyperkicking | Child, Crazy, Happy | 5
Lady Lefant | Ranged Fabric Control | Ostentatious, Witty, Self-Assured, Hates Plumbaris | 8
Bantum Boy is a boy of perhaps 12 years of age, dressed in a highly stylised chicken costume. He bounces of the walls of the base fluttering about at high speed.
"AYAYAYAYAAYAY! Look who's watching now! It's me! I'm Watching, I'm a Watch. Just call me Mr. Time!!!"
An hour after being accepted in to the team his Mom comes and collects him from the now well-known base.
His mother is a lot more reserved than her unruly son. She looks over the team contract and makes sure it complies with best practise modelled contracts given to child actors.
"Of course I don't want him doing this, but I can't stop him," his mother says. "And so I'd rather he do it in as safe an environment as possible. Don't be misled by his... exuberance. My son made quite a name for himself in Stoney Island... it's just no longer safe for heroes like him to operate there."
Lady Lefant is deep in conversation with Ziggurat when Retry passes her the news that she's made the team. Her costume is stylised in elephant grey, and she wears a long scarf made to look like a trunk. "With two of us applying and two slots, I would have been quite disappointed if I hadn't made the cut!" she says.
The three of them take a tour around the base and she holds up both sides of the conversation, with Retry nodding occasionally and Ziggurat not even attempting to get a word in. "What a delightful set-up you have, darling," she says to Retry. "It reminds me of the base we had back in Destinos. Oh Ziggy and I go back way back. We were on a team with Plumbaris, we called ourselves the Cordon, ring a bell? Terrible name, yours is much better darling. It all fell apart. Titanic egos and unresolved trauma, that's heroes for you. Still, I've got a good feeling about this!"
Cursed Legacy recruit Spyte with Clemency.
Bloodmoon and Bittern join forces to become
Animalia, a team dedicated to rewilding and protecting the ecosphere.

#1 Breaking the Siege[High Profile]
The innocent churchgoers have been trapped in the cathedral in Hermitage with the villains for long enough: the siege is breaking now. The walls will be burst open by Lavateen when everyone is ready. Cursed Legacy should attend.
#2 Crimson Tide[High Profile][Deadly][Harrowing]
After so many of their number have been stopped in Zircon City, a dozen Crimson Plague supervillains from all over the country have arrived in full force on a hellish cruiseship filled with thousands of brainwashed civilians. They're headed up by the leader of the Crimson Plague, Justinian the Bloody. If they aren't stopped at the Docks, it may be too late for the city.
#3 Old Blood[Heroes: 1][Recurring]
Young people are turning old, all over Warren. This must be the work of Reinita, but why is she draining so many? It would take a determined and subtle sleuth to catch her out.
#4 Dog Park[First Come]
The Legion of Wickedness have taken over a golf club in Greenbelt, which they intend to turn into huge personal dog park for the many dogs they now own. The well-to-do patrons are not impressed by this, but they're also not willing to go up against a flying man shooting lasers from his eyes.
#5 Whose Town? Our Town![Time Sensitive]
Ex-politician, Maxine Power, is leading a mob to storm Town Hall. The mob want to oust the mayor and enforce martial law on the city, giving power control tech to all police, mandating that all Evolved wear GPS-tracked power-nullifying anklets at all times, and that Evolved-criminals receive an automatic Kill Order. Lovehandles is currently trying to protect the Mayor, but he's seriously outnumbered.
#6 Muskrat Margarita[Time Sensitive]
Muskrat, the escaped convict, is taking advantage of the chaos to rob a fancy cocktail bar in Dusk Beach. Apparently, the Spider Knights may be on their way.
#7 Stars Aligned[Time Sensitive][Rep 2 Silver Row OR Deadly]
Constellation Aurora have returned from a long spiritual retreat to recenter themselves after the death of Parapraxis. On their return, the team has been immediately set upon by snipers lead by Dr Black himself! Only heroes familiar with the area will be able to approach safely.
