Alter-ego/backstory: Jack Dandy was born Donald Arthur Whisk, but took up a more pleasing stage name at the age of 13. At 15 he landed a breakout role as the spunky sidekick in a cheap but popular science fiction flick, which taught him that not only could he succeed as an actor, he could inspire people while doing it. As he grew older, he transitioned from heroic supporting roles to the main man himself, but he never lost the humility and enthusiasm that made him so popular with audiences. One day during a difficult shoot, a costar was almost crushed by a collapsing prop before Jack was able to leap to his rescue from some thirty feet away. Princess Professional is holding a file with a decent chunk of legal paperwork in it. Though less than usual. Apparently Mayor Bigby had ensured that the process would be simple enough for heroes to handle in their limited free time.

"The Odd Squad destroyed so much of the city. This won't look good for us."
The Chorist straightens his snazzy tie.

"We can handle her. She should know better than to make trouble."

An armored police van pulls up and the villain is escorted out by armed cops. She's bundled into some sort of heavy bodysuit to keep her from sprouting tentacles, but is otherwise unbound...

M3 doesn't miss a beat. "If I were facing Slugnut, I'd be able to shoot the pistols out of his hands... if I had my own guns. Do we get guns??"

Retry shakes her head. M3 resumes looking around the base.

"And that counts as a mutation? Very puzzling..."  mused the Man in Grey, who had a sudden urge to stick some red string between a handful of newsclippings on his big Theory wall.

A 50-ft tall robot with a clockface for a head has been trampling around Atomic Heights, shooting cones of ice at buildings. So far, no real harm done, but it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Alter-ego/backstory: Luke was a janitor at the local university before awakening his powers. With no close friends or family, he was considered by most people to be a loser. One day gambling at Big Pig after a night of drinking he was caught in the middle of a super hero battle, which would have certainly killed him if it was not for his powers awakening. With his new found powers he immediately begun amassing wealth and success. Feeling unfulfilled after having success handed to him (and perhaps spurred on by his new found desire for conflict) he decided to go into the super hero business, setting the place he discovered his powers as headquarters out of a sense of nostalgia.

Alter-ego/backstory: Caroline, like many people with too much curiosity and free time and not enough sense of self-preservation, decided that it would be fun to go explore an abandoned facility to see if she could find anything interesting. For a variety of reasons, this was an enormous mistake, as some facilities are either abandoned for a reason or are less abandoned than they first seem. Now, she’s not exactly talking about any of the specifics of what happened, but it certainly seems that she regrets what she did. Except for the small fact that it doesn’t seem she ever actually did it, and her accounting of what day it is was off by one.

Allison, standing on top of a drawer, jumps a bit, then visibly slumps with disappointment when she processes what just happened.
I am Frostara. Doppelswap put me in a rat body. I promise you, I am supposed to be here.

M3 - well, Johanna, apparently - blinked a few times. "Oh. Ooooh."
Then a grin spread across her face, and she quickly snatched Allison up, to her squeaky protestations. "You're so cute! You just need a hat - a little scarf, that would be perfect-"

Allison's outrage only encouraged Caroline's giggle fit.


"I told you, I'm sure."

Caroline still looked worried; on top of the table they were sitting at, Frostara did as well. I really do appreciate it, but - it's only barely enough money! We'll all be broke after this!
The offer is wonderful, Sally, but please spend a day thinking about it, please?

Sally gave a soft smile and chuckle. "I did. Two even; I came up with the idea on Saturday. It sucks that Suffrage is charging so much, but that's why Dandy set up his charity. And Frostara." Her gaze hardened an ounce. "Even if the people off the team don't get it, we need you back. My disposable income is worth getting you your body back."


Doctor Hijank looked over the schematics she'd been given.

"...while I appreciate that you went through a decent bit of work to get this, I must say that it isn't exactly the best use of my abilities, yes? I do know how to make technology from the concept stage."

David gave an unsettlingly-illuminating grin. "We know. That's why you're being given freedom to alter the designs as you believe suitable."

The woman raised an eyebrow. "And I'm being trusted with this?"

Caroline let out a small snort. Remember that you're in the blast zone before deciding if you want to sabotage it. And besides, E Corp might have had whatever nasty or useless bits in that design. You're the one who'd best be able to figure that out.

The Doctor hummed an affirmation, took out a pen, and started on a new design.


Retry and Void/Supernova will go to the House Raid, as Retry can undo her own death and injury while Void/Supernova is probably immune to bullets. (6)
Sally and Saluki will be looking into figuring out where Chiffon has been taken and how to rescue her [technically, a type-6 personal mission].
Frostara will be getting a Suffrage Swap back into her original body, which means that the Watch is going to be completely broke again, even after Sally liquidates her wealth. (Suffrage Swap)
Doctor Hijank will be using the control belt designs, plus her own expertise, to create equipment to help Void/Supernova control his powers (final superhero name pending how that stabilization comes out) [type-5 personal mission].
Mr. Spawnman will go help with the Pipes mission. (1)
M3 will see if she can copy an ally's and tinker's power by attempting to assist Doctor Hijank and potentially producing something useful [type-7 personal mission].

Nitrox, Camarada and Película crash the Legion of Wickedness (#5). It's run by the Baron, so things shouldn't need to get lethal, but they are villains so let's see if we can make some arrests.

Crackler takes some time to rest from his exhaustion. (#0.8)
