Interests/Values:          Interested in dwarven technology and exploring dwarven ruins. Worships the human god of trade if there is one?
Goals:                         Wants to reintroduce trade, maybe by finding gold/treasure to use as currency. Problem: he's very ignorant, his understanding comes from the cult of the trade god, and he's probably never used coins to trade in his life? I assume the world is so apocalyptic that everybody's just bartering
Reason for joining: He's a mercenary to feed himself but nobody has work for him, he had hoped to go explore dwarven ruins  but there's no expeditions


( I was thinking about checking the legends, but I don't know how to do it in pre-Steam. Could it be possible to get an export file that i could plug into Legends Browser, or does it work differently? )

How about this for Mubo. He worships Kas the god of persuasion, but it's an obscure syncretic version invented by some cult: Ral-Kas, god of wealth and persuasion, or rather, trade. We don't need to worry about who worships this and where, beyond the point that maybe a handful of them are out there somewhere?

Apparently at least dwarven civs can have trade gods. Not sure about humans but it would be odd if not

Oh yeah different takes on religions is normal! I feel like most characters either

1. Exemplify a cultural norm so others can get an idea of what that group is like

2. Deviate from it to show how it can look different and contrast it


In legends mode we got abunch of humans who have taken over the dwarven kingdoms and its government. They're basically making themselves the inheritors of the dwarves so it fits for people to start to have interesting ideas and takes as humanity has all these dwarven ruins and texts lying around



unrelated, but related note: I run a homebrew pathfinder 2e campaign and had a new friend join. He didn't really mesh with any of the deities in the setting at all, which is fine religion is optional, but he asked to port over a PF2E deity into the setting. I said that was totally fine he just won't find any shrines or anything to his goddess and it will be mostly up to him to insert her relevance into the campaign

Name: Kanil Inchwhip
Human Male
Notched Union (Tribal refugee from the plains)
Deity: Buh
Combat Specialization: Wrestling and martial arts
Occupation: Currently a bounty hunter
He has long brown hair he ties up and a short beard.

Kanil values art, thus his worship of Buh, even though he has no talent for it. He likes fighting, although this has mellowed over the years, but still dreams of being even stronger than he currently is. He cares deeply for those around him even if he struggles to vocalize that.
His goal is to help support the many orphans and people he has come into contact with and picks up work dealing with low level threats to share the reward with the many orphans sheltering in Inkyrout.
He also was deeply impacted by his encounter with Kivish the rhino demigod, who physically outclassed him in every sense, and desires to grow his other martial skills to become stronger.

Kanil joined up because this is a job for him, plus bandits need to be stopped.



I'm putting away Cloudfought for now so I can train Kanil in hand to hand. That'll balance it out too so he isn't the one overpowered party member. I ran some hypothetical scenarios BEFORE the demon battle where Kanil and the best non-undead dwarves all fought Kivish at once and Kivish won...by a lot! He had some sheer menace especially as he was randomly becoming hostile to different people present in that final battle so I had no idea if he was gonna murderfy someone.
