They might be capable of speach, they are listed on legends as a pikeman. One of Sarvesh's daughters recently inherited the title of lady. Could do a mother daughter adventure to make a duck leader of somewhere.

I checked legends again.  I am amazed Ustir lives.  As it reports that she lost her right eye and her bill in combat.  I agree we have to do something for this duck!

I have never become so excited and then subsequently so let down, by a duck. Of course, Ustir was no mere duck, but a legend. a waddling legend with cute flappy feet
