(An allied Crustacean would be a crab controlled by another player on the same team. It will probably never be relevant but I sometimes like to make cards with group battles in mind.)

[Unraveller]

"It's lookin' that way pal." He muses, dropping down another card.



A sour expression falls over the dude's face, drawing his next card without warning, the Mossen Crushclaw destroys Shotgun Maid, but not without being blown to bits itself.

Suddenly the man's beady eyes glaze over and go wide all the same as he watches the Shotgun Maid dissipate. An illusion of another time stays his hand.

His features twitch and he keels forward, a hand grasping at the pain in his temple. It seems that he's unable to give the command to attack! Rather, his pair of monsters gather treasures in the form of two stars as he mumbles aloud regaining composure slowly, "I was gonna say you reminded me of someone. . . But you ain't strong 'nough to even be a comparison."

Despite the intense upset, the thuggish Highschooler can't help but flash his pearly whites. With a grin he draws, throwing down a Cosmic Isopod for 3 stars total.



"That's what I like to see. . . I ain't in this fer one sided victories!"



With two fingers he flips the card, drawing another from his deck. "Give it all you got!" His voice a hoarse roar.

"Take yer stars, I don't give a damn how many you got." The spies gather all the intel they need, bringing Stirk's total to seven!! Stars. Somehow that only gets the crustacean slinging duelist more pumped as he repeats the play from earlier. A Shipwreck Hermit appears with 5 attack and 8 hearts. Recieving the attacks from each of the three maid tokens, the dude draws three more cards!



Thanks to those draws, he manages to have two more Cosmic Isopods skitter out!

After drawing a card, the thug plays another Conqueror of Chitin, spending a star thereon.



Two of his three Cosmic Isopod's swarm and destroy the Shotgun Maid, sharing in its fate. Somehow, with a pain in his heart, the punk fights through the memories of his truest friend, commanding the remaining Isopod and Shipwreck Hermit to attack directly, dealing 7 damage to Stirk!

"I don't want to see you holding back either. You got the card that lets all your cards attack right twice? Have to with that big a hand. You have half your deck out already No pulling punches this time. Go for the kill. Overkill even."

[Unraveller]

"Yeah. . . I got it alright." A rough haze of his breathe comes out. "This ain't as overkill as I like, but. . !"

The Conqueror of Chitin cuts down the Shotgun Maid, left with one heart, while the Isopod and Hermit deal another 7 damage together.

"Guess I was hopin' to see ya do more with then stars too." He muses, a card in his fingers, "But stringin' ya along and pulling all my punches ain't my style - yer right about that."



At once, his monsters gather together, finishing Stirk off in their final combined assault.

"Show me. Next time, all the power them maids of yer's got."

"Sorry, but that was a trick. As it turns out I did make a countermeasure to the Lamb cards. It is perhaps overpowered, but if things had gone just slightly differently I would get no chance to play it."

I begin picking up cards and immediately throwing them in the discard pile.

It was obvious, nothing about the rowdy thug could be considered understated or subtle. He was an open book. And his opponent played him like a damn fiddle. Practically blown away by the reflection of damage, the high-school freshman champion grits his teeth and digs in. As the dust settles, his hand grows by one card more.

"Heh. . ."

His second to last Isopod comes out.



"Maids huh. . ? Guess they're really somethin' after all. Let's see yer final move."

"So not only have ya discovered strength in these maids, but ya realize the power of Waifus too. . . But. . ."

After placing a card into his hand, he pays one star to reveal another.
