This is the second battlefield for the CYOGTCG Legacy Tournament.

Unraveller vs Failbird

Unraveller wins the flip and will go first. Before you commence, you are allowed to make any agreements about alternative hand size or starting stars or hearts.

[Unraveller]

"I ain't agreein' to nothin'." A harsh voice like nails on a chalkboard screeched across the way. "Basic rules or we ain's playin, ya got that?"

As the figure bellowed, they began to draw the top cards from their deck without even so much as an eye towards them. "Yer lookin' at the champion of the CYOCGTCG High School Freshman tournament! Ya ain't got a chance--" He bites his tongue as his beady eyes fall down upon the cards in his hand.

"Hey uhh. . . Can I get a mulligan here. . .?" Without a positive response, or perhaps even any response at all. The guy grits his teeth and plays with what he's got.

Shellfish Treasures is played!

"First I will play Rookie Maids."


"Then, because of their effect and starting second, I can play Puppet Maid."

"I just want the record to show we came up with maid cards independently."

Stirk notes.

"I actually sent my cards in before noting Fail was also doing maids."

It's a very amusing coincidence, but also one that will have an interesting effect on the tournament, because you both may well end up using each other's cards (to create one ultimate maid deck I suppose).

[Unraveller]

"Ehh. . . What the hell is that?" He wheezes, drawing a card from the top of his deck. "It don't even look tough as those numbers show. . . Jeez, what kinda SOUL you got anyway?"

"Alright, get this, ya maid-lovin' freak. I'mma need some stars to deal with this." With that, Shellfish Treasures, being considered a crustacean in of itself, generates a star rather than making an attack. After that he slaps another card down, gaining an additional star.



"My bread'n butter, come on, gimme somethin' good!" With the symbol of the Crimson Claw played, the thug draws an additional card.

"Yer go."

"From there, my Puppet Maid destroys your Treasures, and then my first Rookie Maids attack you directly!"

"Guess this'll have to do fer now." He muses, playing Shipwreck Hermit! Thanks to the Symbol of the Crimson Claw, it gains three attack and hearts, setting it to 5 Attack and 8 Hearts!

Drawing a card, the dude doesn't have any quips for which to speak for, "He did his job." He muses, two more cards coming from the death of the Shipwreck Hermit.

"Ain't got no choice but to bank it on the future." He says. A Cosmic Isopod comes skittering out to grant him a star, and right thereafter another Symbol of the Crimson Claw, giving him an additional card.

While the second spends the man's star yet again to afford his field more bulk.
