Rationale: Shunting win-blocking effect to a higher star count to make it more of a later-game effect. Keeping the stats nearly the same but making it immune to cheap removal attempts: this ordinarily has to fought the old fashioned way (and, on the flip-side, it can't be buffed by cheap effects either). This is a card to stall out a few turns: it doesn't win on its own, but it forces the opponent to throw creatures at it.)

Rationale: Compare this card to Unraveller's much fairer Solar Eclipse. Still, Bad End hits both sides of the field, so in a way it's similar to the boardwipes in the Arms Race game. Interestingly, it leaves 0 attack cards alone, allowing utility blockers to be left on the field. I don't actually think Bad End is unbalanced per se, but v2 of Bad End has a similar effect but isn't so crippling to decks with super expensive creatures but no unflipping support. It's still a great card for clearing through mobs and buying time from dangerous cards.

Honestly, while you may be pessimistic Unraveller, Symbol of the Crimson Claw is a potent card. The kind of card that demands effective removal cards from your opponent. And to be frank, I got quite possibly the best draws I could have for going second place, so uh, don't take it too hard if you do lose, I kinda drew into a best case scenario very quickly.

Oh, no worries here Failbird. I'm not upset at all, though maybe some of what I've written seemed like it. Having fun as usual! Very enjoyable for me to play with these cards again.

You know, I'm realizing Rookie Maids are actually underpowered from a purely numerical perspective. You might not notice with how much board control they're piling on right now, but considering that they're only a once-per-turn quickplay instead of unlimited, and have no bonus effects, the fact that they only gain 1 extra stat point feels a bit off.

I mean, gaining a star when played is worth two stat points on its own, so it would be logical to assume unlimited quickplay only costs an additional two points, because of how the Isopod and Tentakitty are. And yet the Rookies have only a limited Quickplay effect, but are down by three points.

Being honest, that isopod has always been OP. Can't deal damage, but gives an instant star and a body.

It's alright. I'm almost out of them, since we can only have 6 of a card, unlike our Highschool days.

Failbird and Unraveller go forward to their next Design Phase and may submit up to two new cards to me. They may also optionally:
