Well, it's cooled down a bit, but there's the corpse in the bedroom.  From last time, though, you know you can fill up on corpse meat.. but it wasn't truly satisfying, leaving you glutted and digesting but not truly satisfied.  Like you needed to do more than just glut yourself to get all you can out of food.

Any ideas?  Or are you just going to keep the pit satisfied?

You've already searched this room once.  There was some food, but although it was tasty, there wasn't a lot of it.  Maybe you need to have a lot of it -and- do something special to it?

Anyway, you're too hungry to waste more time and eat as much of the corpse as you can, happily working your way through the exposed flesh of the chest.  Several pounds later, you're once again full, although this time, not too round to fly.

Cooking does sound appealing, though.  Next time.  When you aren't stuffed.

You do hear a little creak and a rumble on the ship, as if some of the machinery failed somewhere.  That's a bit worrying.

That rumbling probably isn't important to us so let us go look around again since I've forgotten what's around us.

Look around

You're on a ship, and have cleared out portions of deck nine and deck eight, so you're up high in the ship.  There were some locked doors blocking your path forwards, some other locked doors blocking your path to the 'portside weapons pod', and some hostile humans blocking the way further forward through a mess hall.  They were taking some other humans hostage?  It's weird.  The stairwells seem clear, so you can explore further up and down.

Anyway, the ship as a whole is getting attacked and took a bad hit further down.  You do have access to some escape pods, but locking yourself in a tiny room seems like a pretty final decision to make.
