Other mortals may find them to be confusing in conversation due to their use of overly technical language, this being the origin of the word "jargon".

Description: Cute little friendly demonlings with small wings who steal souls from other species in order to take their appearances and live among them out of curiosity and greed. Highly gregarious. Act cutesy but are secretly spiteful and hateful little creatures who can hold grudges for centuries. Their voices have a weak suggestive effect added to make people more amenable to whatever they say, within reason. They can absorb souls to gain power and use the souls that they aren’t using to either absorb or trade among other Abcubi.

Eating souls increasing any aspect of their being, from making them stronger or increasing their shapeshifting powers or even giving them new powers altogether. Souls of powerful or influential people gives them more power then absorbing the soul or some random peasant across the street, hence they tend to target the more “well known” types of people, not only for the quality of the soul, but to indulge in the luxuries that they possess.

Abcubi have a fanatical sense of loyalty to their creators, but are also quick to ask for a few new shiny souls to have whenever asked to do something that would put them at risk of death or anything sufficiently major.

They are lead by the strongest Abcubi, the ones who have absorbed the most souls and who have lived the longest. They call them “Anicubi’s”. They also tend to be surrounding by flowing blood.

They strive to maintain a good reputation and only let their true self show to other Abcubi or their god’s. Due to this, not many people on the godbeast know about this species’s true nature, despite one of their creators morals being highly questionable, at best.

Okay, after complaints about power level from Roboson, we're going with this:

Abcubus society is structured through elections, where every small group elects a leader who then represents that group's interests and votes in higher elections. Leaders can be recalled at any time through a vote of no-confidence. Voting is practically compulsive among abcubi and inevitable whenever more than three abcubi meet for a common purpose; abcubi tend to vote for their leaders based on who has the best reputation for causing harm to others in hilarious ways. The fundamental reason for this structure is that democracy is itself a kind of soul-stealing; abcubus leaders have a partial claim on the souls of their constituents, which gives them more power than a typical abcubus, proportional to the number and power of the constituents. Presidents of whole abcubus Legions can work substantial miracles, although many hundreds or even thousands of baseline abcubi may die in the process, their life-forces drained to fuel the magic.
