Heh, don't want to be a pest, but since EA posted this morning but hasn't sent me anything, I wonder if he simply forgot to send it on? (No worries if otherwise!)

I opened email to send it, then paused to go back and check something in the turn, and then proceeded to go about my day...

Yeah. If the last game taught me anything, it's to make it a part of my routine to check the sent folder as the last step in turn processing.

(The problem is that since I'm sending turns to Karlito by endlessly replying to that item in my Sent folder, if I'm not careful I can look there and think it's been sent already as long as it's still at the top of my Sent folder, which I'm pretty sure is what got me this time. Well, that and being a scatterbrained ditz...)

The best time to notice important complications that you'd not entirely accounted for is definitely right after you do something involved, not before.

I got good recon on an unaligned zone, and wow, it is the densest concentration of independent units I think I have ever seen.

One unaligned zone next to me absolutely crawls with critters, and it's a huge zone. I'm pretty sure it'll still be populated by the time the game ends, and that I'll be guarding my border with it as long as I have one.

well, things went from merely spicey to ghost-pepper-hospitalization in a single turn. damn alien natives betrayed my ass. it doesnt help i built my industry in the wrong order

may whomever fights the AI major that killed me, I hope u like tanks. just endless tanks

I still haven't seen a sign of an AI major despite there being 7 on the map, and my spies have uncovered a fair amount of it.

40k alien natives with machine guns and little cars are encamped less than a hundred miles from the palace. it wont be long now

the ultimate question is, who will win the subsequent fight over my bloodied carcass? I will be passing on multiple lucrative nodes. including a recently discovered and untouched ----------- mine.

They're pretty clustered.

Also wow, Salmeuk. I would not have expected an AI kill almost 30 turns in. Extreme difficulty indeed.
