The only monster we've witnessed dropping it was the Wolf. Its possible the "Boss" always drops a chunk of dungeon specific loot as well as their own.

There are a few errors in there, but in general, good job- you get 250XP split among your adventurers.
I'm still looking for pictures and descriptions of a cat and a wolf. Bonus points if they are at least vaguely in the same style.
(There is basically no way to guess this, so I will come out and say it straight: bosses drop unique monster loot (in case of the wolf, you get a pelt), but also chest loot.)

Honestly the Wolf is a case of finding it early on and actually getting a lucky hit in.
