My apologies for not being around more for Day 2. Work mostly.

I would like to have made a proper case on Jim. Mostly, he seems to be trying to control the outcome more than his Town self.

NQT is suspicious, but someone offered to Jailkeep him, so that slot is resolved for now.

I would have liked to make my acceptance of the Devil's Deal more democratic, but not enough time. I'm taking it.

I'm mostly convinced Hector is Town. The crap he's giving me reminds me of our AmeriPol argument, where he presumably was expressing his honest opinions. I'd be more convinced if he spent more effort on other players, but I haven't been following 100%. I think he's made some other good points as well.

You're right, Egan's reaction is exactly wrong. And the thing that makes me mad about this is that I still think NQT is on the opposite team from Egan because NQT's claimed role is Egan's counter.

I'm not voting Egan here because that would be hammer. the unvote is practically the same thing in this situation, but it doesn't end the day on the spot.

I've played the healer in that situation. The response to that is "Do that again and you're getting replaced." Depending on your MMO, it's usually easier to get a replacement tank than a replacement healer. Also, playing healer gets you a very full friends list very fast. You will usually have a potential replacement tank you can call in just hanging out idle in a town somewhere at all hours of the day. You can replace the fool in less than 2 minutes, and there's no reason for you not to tell them that.

Having said that, That's actually a fairly common phenomenon when you have a Good tank that is used to working with a coordinated guild or clan, because they're doing speed-clear patterns for the dungeon or raid. The tank however is also clearly NOT the caller for their group, because the person he should be bitching out there is NOT the healer, it's the DPS. Because it's the DPS's (and off-tank if you have one)'s job to handle that kind of extra pull, the healer rotates to healing the DPS until the trash is cleared, and the main tank solo-tanks without healing using mitigation tools while this goes on. The limiter there is NOT how good the healer is at healing, it's how fast the DPS can clear the mobs, because no matter how good your healer is that situation is not sustainable, so your DPS needs to put their A-game on and speed-clear the mobs because the healer runs out of tools to prevent a wipe.

also, any tank trying that with a PUG is a dumbass because you need to know your team and know the dungeon and know that it's within your groups limits before you even think of trying that. And I've seen so many skilled but stupid tanks try this stuff in PUGs and it almost never works well. I've ended up literally running OOM and the dumbasses just instantly start another 4x pull and wonder why I call for the group to leave him to die. and walk away.
