Supernerd, if the anglerfish dragon deals damage to a creature with only two hearts, will the owner gain 2 hearts or 4?

I like it. How about this for taking the Airbase. It picks up on FB's equipment idea.

Stick a PGW in there and win two turns later. Also in the airbase it's immune to their boardwipe cards. I made it a dragon-themed plane as it's always nice to double up for extra region support. Gave it the flying effect the broomstick witch has, as airplanes should be able to fly.

If this format gets run again, I would suggest allowing players to create keywords which go into a central glossary. If keywords were a thing, this card could just say: Vehicle. Flying.

Here's another idea which could increase our dominance in every region and weaken the opponent's.

On its own it does literally nothing, and indeed no other cards currently make reference to background colours... but it's a force multiplier in every region. Making it a reveal-only effect means we keep tempo and can keep doing it, but at the expense of using up a hand slot (and the fact multiple draws of this are worthless).



It would be four.

Maybe stats something like:

Attack: 21
Hearts: 21
Stars: 13
Card Effect: This card can only leave play if it has 0 hearts. At the start of your turn, all other cards take 1 damage and this card gains hearts equal to the damage dealt.

So, immune to any removal other than creatures, and has a life-drain aura. Definitely final-boss tier. Any super expensive card would have to be made immune to cheap trick removal.

Any other ideas?

Finally a use for Ghost Eel's card effect! That's very generous of them to design into a space we'd already accidentally defended.

Hypersummon though... a great card that is absolutely useless in the Mire. This might be the card Tric thought he'd win with.

Not necessarily. It could even work better- it'd just be random.

Have we ever had a ruling on whether Nightly Sweep sweeper tokens can attack the turn they come into play?

The wording, "Create a sweeper token in play" leaves it a little ambiguous.

Damn. I shouldn't have asked. Because literally just saw that the only time they were ever played, it turns out they got away with attacking the turn they were played.

This is almost certainly the correct call though. And you can still attack with cards then convert them in the same turn, so there's that.



If this wasn't going well enough, I have an extra little surprise in my hand for next turn. Something good to spend those stars on...
