Edit: two turns in, and I have already realised something. This game isn't MTG- your hand size doesn't naturally decline. With a single Backfire, you'd enable a Destructive Analysis discarding 3 cards. It would be pretty sketchy without the Backfire, since there are some ways of playing multiple cards per turn. I was in the wrong mindset.

Okay! Good thing thing we're doing this test, cos I have a question about Fog of War

The card specifies that "Effects can be chosen in any order"- does that mean they don't all take place at once? Specifically, could I use the "Play a card with hearts" ability, and then have the "Flip all your cards face down" ability affect it? If this were MTG, I think the answer would be no- the card is entering the field at the same time as the flipping occurs, so is 'in transit' and is not affected. But then MTG cards that let you choose multiple options don't specify the effects can happen in any order, which is what leads me to this question.

As this is possibly quite relevant to my next move, I'll put the choice of how to proceed to you, NQT. Wait for Supernerd to give a ruling, or you can make a temporary ruling right now that I will abide by.

E: Also, I think you should be at 2 stars right now. Meteor Shower gained you 2, but cost you 1.

That was my intention when I wrote the card, so please do play it that way. We should get clarification from Supernerd before we field it in a real battle, but go with the more powerful interpretation for this match.
