Card Name: Fog of War
Card Picture:
Background Color: Brown
Attack: 0
Hearts: 0
Stars: 0-4
Card Effect: Pick one effect. Pay additional stars for additional effects. Effects can be chosen in any order:
1. Conceal: Flip all of yours or an ally's cards face down
2. Bypass: Flip all of an opponent's cards face down
3. Infiltrate: Play a creature from your hand.
4. Exfiltrate: Remove one of your cards from play into your hand.
5. Breakout: Repeat one effect already picked.
Flavor Text:
Metadata: A momentum boosting card which can flip your own cards for defense, and/or flip the enemy's cards to bypass them for attacks. Costs more the more you want to do with it. Also a way to get dinky units out for long enough to do something without being killed straight away.
Reference: Fog of war, but a literal fog.

(Question: if you played this with all 5 effects, for 4 stars in the mire, would it actually cost 2?)

Well I suppose it may wind up on Gabriella to make some form of Card Draw this turn then.

Also, my current Hand is Organ Harvest and Card Caster

Oops, yeah, we really want some card draw. We have a building that pumps out stars, so why not a building that pumps out card draws? Or a giant untouchable dragon that draws cards whenever it attacks. Whatever Gabriella fancies.

I had utterly abysmal draws, which was absolutely not helped by the fact that I had no way to draw more than one card per turn. On top of that, Tric's cards had very clearly been built ENTIRELY for this Region. Two different Green Sheep meant Erik could load up the board with untouchable cards, nuke the field without any risk to himself, and then claim a massive degree of immediate board control, all without playing more than one card per turn.

Frankly I don't think that a unit that draws cards over time is a good idea, as we've seen with the Refinery such things can be nuked down far too easily if you don't have solid board control. Perhaps like, a Dragon's Hoard spell? Just some kind of 'use this and draw cards' spell is needed.

I mean sure, but it also is entirely dependent on you ending up in the region you built a deck for. In case you forgot that I did build a Region support deck, and just didn't get to go to the Region I wanted.

I will note one thing I noticed though.

Did we ever see them play uh...
literally any Star generation that didn't cost stars?

I think we legitimately just had chance line up entirely against us.

Edit: Backfire for fast card draw is good!, but Toxic Whelp allows for cycling. My strategy for the next round is to cycle with Toxic Whelps, utilize Star-generating cards for The Mountain of Bodies, utilize Unintentional Bombardment for board control, the basic picture also a Dragon for the Dragon Graveyard region

Edit: I have flip flopped again!, Toxic Whelp is hilarious because killing people through burn damage is a surely way to victory however we need so much weird card support for the Banishment cards and the Ghost spam, that rapid card draw is needed sadly. A dragon card will be made next turn.

The way I feel like we should play against Meteor Storm is too just have cards that are annoying to remove from the battlefield

I think we legitimately just had chance line up entirely against us.

Spin let it slip that they have at least one "attempt at a star a turn" generator that didn't' work out, and at least one trump card they didn't get to play.

Its not like they needed to do anything with stars since Storm Cell would have done the same thing as Meteor Shower.

I think it's quite possible that this turn we will all field very different decks. All of us last turn fielded over half of decks with easy to kill 0 star creatures cards. I plan to have a lot of that trash still, but not quite as much! We have good star gain so I intend to lean into that more.

Personally I have very high hopes for the Mountain, and it will likely replace PGW in my deck entirely,maybe also Isekae. It's set up to be a solid Beatstick, not effect based(no ongoing effect a card could potentially stop like the CENSOR card I've been planning for quite some time now to boost PGWs usefulness), and plays well with our easily wiped hordes.

I mean, it is a 2 Star Card, and I feel like the effect would have been reasonable for a 1 Star, if not 0, though I can't personally confirm that.

Also, I've just thought of an awesome card concept that would make PGW utterly Monstrous.
