Zerek pops a hatch and crawls onto the back of the groaning skybeast. Its exterior is coated with "blood", but the many small wounds seem clotted, meaning that damage is unfortunately internal and difficult to field-repair.
Mahsun, inside of a clear gunner's hemisphere, lines up the mounted gun carefully with his stationary target and hits the trigger, only for the terrible shower of red arcane energy to land somewhere else as the shuttle machine twitches in pain. The guy poking his head out of the APC seems to get the memo anyways and ducks down...
While still holding his molotov over his head, out the hatch. Nothing could go wrong with that!~
A moment after Masun fires his burst, the shuttle trembles in pain, internal lights flicker.
Unimpeded by the off-target fire, the enemy APC suddenly shoots forwards, oddly silent on its non-arcane "engine". The enemy Rider is either incompetent or bold, and the vehicle crashes into you! The molotov-holder drops his molotov, of course, and it bursts and ignites on top of the APC!
Zerek sees this coming at the last moment and holds on tight, but not tight enough. Losing his grip on the shuttle rig's armor, he tumbles down, managing to curl up and roll to the dusty ground, uninjured. At least he fell down the opposite side from the APC, giving him cover for now.
Masun's seat is barely rocked by the impact.
Scrambling to get into a firing position, Billy Bob instead stumbles and falls face first into someone's guts! Well, it could be worse...
Zerek and Billy Bob both hear a faint, yet distinct *thunk* from the field. Shortly thereafter, they also hear an explosion.
Well, in Zerek's case "hear" might not be as accurate as "experiences" an explosion. His head and shoulders enjoy a shocked half second of flight before the end.
