"I was meaning to ask before: do you always start off conversations using FLIRTY programming?" Maria grins mischieviously.

"Not always, but in social gathering places, being flirty might earn you a word here or a discount there. Sorry, it became something of a habit."

"It's alright." Maria lets out a hum.

"I heard that some SRC Outposts have special drinks, how about yours?"

"No, sorry."

"Why?"

"Every outpost can submit a recipe, once a year, but only the biggest and most popular ones get through approval process that requires unanimous vote from over a hundred bartenders and executive officers."

"Oh... well, 'special' sounds like some sorta drink that promotes well and tastes bad, but I wanna try one. Can you make me one?"

Fortunately, your bartending trivia hours have paid off!

A) "How about 493? It's mostly Wet Jet with ice and dash of Ribesnero to break the sweetness."
B) "How about 64? It's a shot of Dry Jet spritzed with some other flavors."
C) "How about 90500? It's Wet Jet, Sucrosol, with dash of Martian for heavier flavor, poured over ice."
D) "If you heard about any specific Special drink mix, I can prepare it for you."
E) "Sorry, but no."

C - The other two have Sour flavours, which Maria doesn't like.

"How about 90500? It's Wet Jet, Sucrosol, with dash of Martian for heavier flavor, poured over ice." Maria hums.

"That sounds nice enough. Sure."

You move to put some ice into a tank glass, then add Wet jet, Sucrosol and spritz some Martian in, giving the mix a murky, barely-orange coloration. Maria takes the glass, inspecting it for a brief moment before she lets you scan her credchip. (+49c)

She takes a cautious sip.

"It's good. I like it." Maria then takes another sip.

"That will be my last call, though." Maria says, putting down the half-full glass.

"You're on a schedule?"

"Not really. But after lifetime of being confined to planetside facilities, I wanna be out there." She points vaguely at the walls. "Space, you know?" She props her chin on her hand, thinking.

Maybe you can squeeze one more question from her?

A) Ask about her Cargo Runner.
B) Ask about her social relationships.
C) Just let her go.
D) "Space is always out there. You are in no need to rush."

"Hopefully I pass through, if I do, I will make sure to visit a fellow drone. What's your name?"

"Arnold."

"Just Arnold?"

"Yep."

"Alright." She smiles and slides off her seat. "Until next time, Arnold." She waves to you and leaves for the main gate.

You finish cleaning after Maria just when the sensors notify you that Coconut has departed the station and is heading for Madagascar Jump Gate.

And so, yet again, you're alone, on this station of yours, in middle of empty system.

You listen in, but there's only silence coming from security console.

You return to the datapad.

You hear the ping of the security console. You bookmark the entry you're reading at, and surmise you're 70% done with SRC Life Support Schematics as you put the datapad down.

You get to the command console to see what's the ruckus about: a ship has entered Beta Carotenii through Madagascar Jump Gate and is headed for Gamma Urquanii's.

You can't scan the ship - but you could ping it.

A) Eh, I had more than enough visitors today. Back to studying!
B) *wiggle fingers toward the comms ping button*
