"Ever heard of Ticardian Colony?" Maria purses her lips in thought, but only briefly.
"Not at all, why?"
"A delegation of diplomats from said colony made a stop at my outpost. They were en route to negotiate inclusion of their homeworld and its outposts into the Federation. It was once part of the Federation, before the collapse, they've told me, and their people want back in." Maria smacks her lips.
"That story I've heard several times already. Not everyone is on board with that, but, Federation provides social and military security. It's worth paying a tax and/or abandoning some of your cultural priviledges the Federal government deems backways or authoritarian, really..."
"So after this delegation got its drinks, they've slipped a name that triggered something... in me. I blacked out." Maria blinks, first in confusion, then in an eyebrow-furrowing concern.
"Are you alright?"
"Yes, now, I am perfectly fine. I think. But they've mentioned Mr.O'ot, who was part of the commanding crew of a place that I served at." You reach to rub your temples as a headache ping-ponges between your ears, very briefly.
"Oh, did you have a chance to meet him?"
"No. My wetware processor shut down itself and me, and I fainted." Maria looks even more concerned about you.
"I don't think you are alright, Arnold. I think you should find a neurologist, or perhaps, a cyberneticist."
"My onboard medical equipment told me the same." Maria purses her lips.
"Well, and you're not going?" You reply to Maria is a vague handwave at the replicator. "Ah, I see, work."
"Yes, I'm quite grounded, as humans would say it." Maria looks at you, thinking briefly.
"Hey, would you like me to point a doctor in your direction? The Geis and the Pathers have some wandering medics-preachers. If you don't mind a bit of religious babbling on the side about a spooky Dragon or Path-Ways, they could give you or your chip a look. Maybe even for free, who knows?"
A) "A Dragon-affiliated doctor would be okay, sure."
B) "A Path-Ways-affiliated doctor would be okay, sure."
C) "I would rather prefer you find me a non-religious medic, really."
D) "I don't think I can afford any medical visitations right now, I'm sorry to say it."
