"You will be leaving Zanzibar?"

"I never planned on staying, really." Maria explains, drinking the remainder of her Red Desert.

"There's much to see and many places to visit, still." She pushes the empty glass towards you, while Take sips through the remainder of his own drink. He sets the glass down with a clink.

"Hey, no need rosh anywhere. It takes days to cross a quarter, a week or week and half to move a sector through! Two years and you gonna see errything at this pace." Maria giggles, and then taps the counter.

"Maybe you're right, maybe you're wrong. I will see personally how it goes. Eternity lies before us, and beyond, and I want to be there, to witness it." There's a brief silence, before Take sighs dreamily. Elim turns to his husband.

"Have you drunk your fill yet?" Take shakes his head in denial, but doesn't say - or order - anything.

A) Ask if either Take or Maria wants anything to drink.
B) To Maria: "Nothing - or no one - to keep you around Zanzibar, I guess?"
C) To Elim&Take: "So, how long have you two been happily married?"
D) To Elim&Take: "It seems that the liver implant is losing the battle, no?"
E) To Take: "Ever considered name change to stop the jokes?"

"It seems that the liver implant is losing the battle, no?" Maria giggles, Take on the other hand gives you a glaring stare.

"He can take one more drink." Elim states, staring at his husband, who leans away in his stool, staring at the ceiling of the hall - before mistress gravity inadverently pulls him back and down, off his seat.

"On the other hand, that's enough for him." The android quickly leaves his seat and helps his drunk sweetheart onto his feet.

"I will bees back for 'nother in the morn!"

"Yes, yes, of course you will." Elim hoists Take's arm over his shoulders and walks him towards the gate.

"Aren't live implants meant to prevent intoxication as a whole?" Maria muses, watching the duo slowly pace through the hall. With a smile, she turns to you.

"What was that special drink you've made for me last time?"

"90500 Special?"

"That one. Could you prepare one for me?" With a nod, you set out to prepare said mix in a cocktail glass. Sweet synthols and ice, with the earthy Martian synthol splashed on top, just as the gate closes behind Take and Elim. You pass the glass to Maria, and scan her credchip for it. (+49c)

"Cute pair, these two, don't you think?" Maria cocks and eyebrow, grinning.

E) Shrug.

"I would lie if I said I wasn't, too. Speaking of cute boy pairs - have you met that one you mentioned, James, again?"

"No, but he promised to drop by today, actually."

"Ooh." Maria smiles. "Good luck with your date." She grabs the glass and sips her mix.

A) "And you? Not looking for anyone? Even if just to keep you company out there?"
B) "Thanks, I hope it will go well."
C) "It's not a date, I think. He's just dropping by."

"And you? Not looking for anyone? Even if just to keep you company out there?" Maria smiles sadly.

"No, after doing my duties, I think I will not enjoy the idea of a male companion and/or children. A female companion, maybe. But for now I am exploring my options. There's time and place for everything in one's life. I think." She takes another sip of her drink. Then, a thought occurs to her, and she sets the glass down.

"And you, Arnold? Any lofty ideas? Dreams, even? What's your goal in this life?"

A) "Get rich and famous."
B) "Create a family, a home."
C) "Survive, that's good enough for me."
D) "Get even with those who wronged me."
E) "Find myself, or that what I've lost."
F) "I do not know. I really do not know."
