"I hoped for a more definite response." The blonde says, while the black-haired android on her side finishes her own drink.

"I am done here. Thank you for information." Mayako says and leaves her seat.

"And now I'm left with the bartender, alone." Vanessa quips, watching Mayako leave, just as you hear a beep from security console.

B) "Another drink?"
C) CHATTY: "Now that we're alone, what's with your bodyguarding of the Duchess?"
D) CHATTY: "I've spoken with the Duchess about you before, was your family close to hers perhaps?"

You slink away from the bar, to the inpassionate, if maybe annoyed, stare from Vanessa.

The security console informs you that Tyomas' ship, the Croissant, has undocked, and is on its way to Eta Coridanii.

You wait for the immediate follow-up beep.

And a minute later, it comes - Kuda, Mayako's battlecraft, launches and speeds off towards Poseidonis Jump Gate. You wonder if you will meet her, or the Commissar, for that matter, ever again.

When you come back to the bar, Vanessa is pretty busy doing stretches - she is bending her back backwards, arms outstretched upwards and fingers interlaced, her hair reaching almost down to the floor, her head tilted. Her black suit can't be that tight of a fit if she can do such stretches.

"Aaahfinaaallyyy~" She gasps in a decidedly lighter and happier voice, then notices you at the edge of her vision and quickly lifts herself up, blushing and glaring.

"Can't I have some privacy here?" Vanessa barks, then straightens her siting, hands on her lap, grumbling something that your ears cannot register.
