Returning to your bedroom, you plug the ad-chip to a holo-viewer.

Immediately an explosion appears before you, and the menacing hull of the Black Dragon of Angierach shows gliding through the cloud of debris. The trio of bounty huntresses replaces the sight, pointing the holographic beam-cannon at you.

"Yo, we're the Three Sisters of Angierach. You point, we shoot. Criminals, cannibals, cheaters, cuckolds - all the pesky dudes who can't follow the law? Paint a target on them and we will get rid of them. Our prices vary depending on the target, really - the bigger fish, the bigger cred you better prepare."

"Aaaand if you're located in Zanzibar Sector, you can even send us a distress call - we might be able to reinforce your distressed butt just in time! For cheap, too!"

"So when you're in need, give us a call! We will come in hot and ready for action~" Harvey blows you a kiss, before another explosion marks the end of the holovid.

The date is 666 United Space Year. Hiro Zirconius, a young lieutenant of the Federal Space Police Fortress, Poseidonis System, is hurtled into Captain's seat after the corvette he is serving on, Hyperion-3, is attacked by members of the legendarily vicious and brutal Barbary Pirates, causing the death of both Captain Netflex and First Officer Famicon. After dealing with the trio of Barbary fightercraft in the orbit of gas giant Socrates IV, and taking his Corvette through the Space Badlands (filled with gravitic vortices and ionized nebula clouds), dishing out hard justice to three more fighters pursuing his ship, he manages to return Hyperion-3 mostly intact to his superiors at FSPF Poseidonis, only to learn that his bravery and ingenuity earned him a promotion and the captainship of Hyperion-3. But with the most of the old crew having perished or being hospitalized after the fighting with Barbary Pirates, Captain Zirconius must first assemble a new crew...

So ends Chapter 1.
