Welcome to Sableriddles, a dwarven university! This is going to be a succession game , so let me know if you want to be added to the rounds. The goal for this save is to create a fortress based on an economy of books and scrolls, as well as with a large library of somewhat high quality books

Alright, I have finished the first year (or third of a year rather,) of the fortress! Nothing of particular note happened so here's some pictures

The site has some hematite, but I haven't found any flux yet. I thought I had, (eg:https://i.imgur.com/8cypHJe.png) but Gniess is not what I want, apparently.

PTW. Great idea.  You can have a museum, library, even a zoological park.   Maybe even a greenhouse of above ground plants.  Training wild animals and gaining knowledge.

Murrmakesstuff, I wouldn't get disheartened because no one signed up to play, sometimes these gambits don't attract attention or the regular succession players are otherwise occupied. Ah, the days when any given game would fill up instantly are kind of behind us.

Sometimes I dream of a new kind of website, for hosting succession game threads exclusively. with like image hosting and other DF specific features to facilitate the storytelling.
