I accidentally forgot to include elephants in the minor box, repairing that now. By the way I have no idea what the name votebox is about and I am dreadfully lazy, could someone please explain?

edit: Ok, found the original name proposal by Powder Minor, got it now. Shouldn't we split the naming votebox in a Major and a Minor part, as below? Not that it matters a lot with everyone supporting the same idea, but still.

Unlike the normal proposals, the naming one is of no mechanical importance. I’m giving everyone equal say in things like the name of your people, capital, or anything else fluffwise that doesn’t actually change the direction of the tribe’s development

Thought about it more, and changed my mind again. I think improving our domestication baseline would be better, as domesticating lions has a potential for failure. It does kinda kick the can down the road, but then we don't really need domesticated lions yet, and better techniques could make up for lost time. I can even imagine skipping lions, if the situation doesn't support it.

Alternative name suggestion: Watu Mbuyu

This is actually almost the same as "people of the Baobab", except that it is also a little wordplay in Swahili. In Swahili "Watu" means people and "Mbuyu" means Baobab, but "Watu Mbuyu" means "Great People" (according to google translate).

Certainly not suggesting to adopt the whole language of Swahili, but I thought this a nice coincidence and it has a nice ring to it.

Re: the name; while I greatly appreciate the pun, I'm sort of trying to avoid going in an explicitly African naming direction (let us ignore that the baobab is ubiquitously African lmao) mostly because that's sort of the norm for savannah stuff and it's the direction went in last with the setting (if northwestern African with Hausa and Mandinka rather than East African Swahili).
