Welcome to the dwarven fortress of Eshtansazir, or Smithbridges!
Join our dwarves as they set out to construct a great bridge over a mighty river before the undead hordes (and giant fuzzy spiders) can destroy them.

One dwarf should have all points put either in critical thinking or logician. No other skills.

please design a dwarf with 5 points in leader, and architect . they should have a certain kind of stone as a preferential type, if possible. doesn't matter what stone, but the more rare the better!

I'd like to be dorfed as well. Points in swimming and pump operating please. Have to make good use of all that water.

If possible I'd like a herbalist with a large dagger for self defense. If getting a dagger proves too difficult, I'll leave it up to you whether you'll give them a short sword or not.

So the conclusion I'm getting here is that we use QSPs because dwarves can't pilot submarines.

That is all 7 founders.  You do not have a single crafter, miner, farmer, or doctor.  Ulfarr the herbalist could reasonably cross-train in farming & cooking/brewing, but all the others are far too intellectual for such menial tasks as mining or chopping trees.  Assigning any of them such peasant work would be a true crime.

alright so we got Immanuel Kant, Thomas Jefferson (see this article, apparently he was an architect or something? who knew), Michael Phelps, David Bowie,  some guy with intense fear of shrubbery, a self-proclaimed "animal handler" (the sheep give that one strange looks), and finally a dwarf whose job description can be best described as, "I WILL ORGANIZE YOUR SADNESS."

Thank you for providing me with 7 useless nobles brave dwarves!
Thankfully the world I have has custom embark points that should allow us to arrive with a good amount of supplies while we wait for more menial laborers to arrive.

There is one oversight though. There's not space in the expedition for me to choose a dwarf!
Sadly someone might have to volunteer to sit it out and arrive in the next wave of migrants.

The wagon ride on the way must of been something to behold. Really curious the state of the dwarven settlement they originate from and the way the world is.

Understood Delphonso. I'll make sure to dorf you as the first gelder or "animal handler" I see.

With all that settled, I should be good to get going. When I've made it through the spring and updated the original post I'll provide some more information on the world. Maybe then we can figure out why these dwarves were chosen to found a fortress.
