That'd be Mictlan and Ermor. They got the big island to split between them while the rest of us were stacked on top of each other. IIRC, there were two start points on that island that got converted into thrones.

To make matters worse, the Fomoria/Neifelheim war ensured that no one seriously expanded south onto the big island, so those nations have only very recently run out of indy provinces.

1/9th of the available land provinces would be about 19. Prior to Pangaea's attacks I had 22 or so, and it took me 15 turns to get there. Nothing absurd. I've also been very accommodating of requests not to take provinces I certainly could have.

Anyway cheer up, I have fewer right now!

I'm looking at my complaining checklist, and it seems I haven't yet whined about magic sites. Like, where are all the earth sites at? Which one of you cheeky bastards hoards them all? I have earth 3-4 searchers, highlands and mountains aplenty, and still haven't found a single one. Like, what are the odds?


Btw, how's the general feeling about the map, in all of its troubled glory? I'm kinda loving it, even though it only gives tough love in return.

Ooo, ooo! If we're going down our whining checklists, I'm totally gonna get in on that! I don't think I've ever seen a map with as high a percentage of Shark Tribe Triton provinces as this one - I'd say it's easily been 75% of them. My expansion was slow and expensive compared to what I'd hoped for - and even though I could then recruit my own STTs to throw at the indy STTs, that still meant a lot of casualties. Sooooo much blood in the water...

ThtblovesDF, this is one of those messages where I wonder whether there is some sort of comprehension deficit at play, not to mention your constant, manic, switches in tone.

Yes, I said I would leave you alone and throw my entire force against anyone who joined you in your fight against me.

But who has actually joined you in your fight against me? Even if someone has sent you gold, if you want me to act on it, you are going to have to show me who has been funding you.

And what truth is being missed, considering I've basically opened all our private messages by now? Are you delusional, or is this some sort of nonsensical and desperate "no, you, because"?

The foiled attack on #101, itself, was either to your merit or me being hoisted on my own petard: I noticed you had not sent your turn, in the last few minutes, and sent a replacement turn to take on #101's PD while it had no niefels in it.

I was a bit wary of it being on purpose and you sending a last minute turn, but was also skeptical you'd risk sending it in the literal last two minutes and risk losing the turn over any small technical issue.

The result is I held most of my mages back but sent the army to take the PD; what I was a bit wary of came true, however, and that army was by and large wiped in exchange for only five niefels. A very favorable exchange for you.

If it was all a coincidence you were fortunate. If it was on purpose, it was creative, dilligent and very well timed, such that I can only take my hat off to you for the deception.

Because ThtblovesDF is sending messages to everyone, and in-game messages lack a log, unless you go as far as hoarding turn files and making a spreadsheet, or print screening all messages.

When dealing with someone lying serially, publicity and records are good practice.

I will tell you this and let the matter rest: do you genuinely believe I should let someone publicly cast lies as to my person without so much as a defense because you find my taking offense to slander annoying?

If you are calling me combative, or even equally abrasive, though, point granted; I will tone it down - but I will continue to counterpoint any outright falsehoods.

@Azthor: I think it might be more the point of Il Palazzo that you don't necessarily need to interact with ThtblovesDF anymore.
I haven't always been able to have the diplomatic relations with other players in this or other games that I might like.
Just write it off as their fault and stop engaging with them.
