But then he might choke on an old thread and die!

Hmmmmm...

I'd really enjoy setting up a Dwarven Fortress Band, that would run around and play  songs for the sick or sad to cheer them up. *Keiseth cancels haul item: Attending Concert*

"Everybody give it up for Urist and the Felsite Thongs! Woooohoo!" "This is a little song I like to call... The Hammerer!"

Edit: Coming up next, "Stairway to Surprise Carp Attack"!

So, did you resurrect this thread just for kicks, or...?

Is it just me, or have we been inundated by necro'd threads recently?

Req11, IMPROVED RESCUE, (Future): People should try to recover the wounded with more zeal, rather than just stopping to eat when they are a little hungry.

Bloat127, HEALING CODE TWEAK, (Future): There's a small issue with healing that might slow the mending of breaks slightly.

I actually considered making just this observation in another thread some 20 minutes ago.  I didn't, but I thought about it.

How about dwarven witchdoctors?  Or shaman?  That way they can say that "oh, you sprained your right 5th finger.  You will die"

And the dwarf will starve to death in his room, unable to feed himself because of the tender. puffy finger he has.
