Grab a couple trees or telephone poles or something and begin hitting things in time to the clock ticking. I'm not even sure if ArgleBargle could hear or care about what Rachel said, but if she has done enough damage to get Argle's attention, he'll pursue her singlemindedly for a while.
Name:ArgleBargle
Character description: A two hundred foot tall angry black pantherman
Special abilities:
Special Ability 1: is 200 feet tall. Somehow violates the square-cube law and doesn't collapse under his own weight
Special ability 2: Angry smash and slash. Basically a chaotic berserker, hell bent on destruction
Special ability 3: Anchor of an Old One. The more attention ArgleBargle gets, the more attention of the Old One is drawn to this world. Chaos Beings spawn in the wake of ArgleBargle's mighty deeds. Ironically, ArgleBargle's Old One's attribute is Ennui, meaning that his creatures induce a state of indifference and boredom. think: waiting at a dentist's office for your friend who is getting their wisdom teeth pulled. think: 3:30 on a Friday at the office - the beige walls crawling with blandness and a faint sense of decay, the clock ticking away just outside your field of vision, and one last task that should take fifteen minutes but is going to take two hours to complete.
(Rachel Mallory)
(1) The dream dragon does not reply.
(ArgleBargle)
(1) (I wish I was making these rolls up myself)
Argle’s constant flailing about continues even while trying to pick trees or telephone poles up, which makes him throw them in random directions almost immediately. (3v3) One such telephone pole happens to glance off the side of a currently inattentive Rachel, who at the moment was requesting something of her personal deity or something, but has snapped back to the situation at hand after having been scraped by the pole.
(Hidden) Both of you notice that the ticking is deliberately slowing down, as if making fun of the situation.
Proceed to gather wood for a fire, and scout the surrounding woods.
