Forumite gods are essentially the admins and moderators, who hold immense power over their populace and may have the last word on anything.

That makes Toady a forumite god. He is also the patron god of this place; he created this place in both material by establishing the forums and in spirit by being the mind behind Dwarf Fortress.

Quasar too is an admin of a forum, and a one-man game developer as well. Or, was... an admin of a forum. The forum he ruled over is almost dead. So he is a forumite god without a forumites to rule over. Steam Discussion pages will have to do for now.

And yeah, I agree. We need a better temple room. One that isn't also the dining room.

Voltaire was evidently correct- for certain values of God.  When our deities are dead it is necessary for us to create them.
