Couple of things:

The tree thing was just meant to be a colorful description since "You miss again because none of you are kitted for ranged combat except the exploded guy and you apparently can't point your flashlight in the general direction of the target" gets repetitive. You have LOS if you want to shoot.

Just kinda terrible odds since you're on a moving vehicle using an automatic weapon.

Delay can only be a half action, so you can't aim after a delayed shoot.

You miss. Not even close. If your gun wasn't reliable it would have jammed again.

You automatically roll every turn to avoid being pinned. You get a bonus if you're not being shot at, which means you're no longer pinned! Hopefully you won't blow up and can take advantage of that next turn!

Bahzil has a premonition. He sees a shell land one meter away. He sees himself becoming Bahzil bits. So he has the good sense to dive away from the shell that explodes behind him destroying the tree he had previously used for cover. His companion finally manages to catch up and drags him behind a new unexploded tree.

Both wall kannons perform the second half of their half reload. Both are still pinned but will be able to fire next turn.

New Ork this time is another Tankhammer, this time on the dismount side. The other Tankhammer patiently waits for the Chimera to get closer to the fort. The other Orks impatiently charge Bahzil, their only visible target.
