Butterfly Butercup flutters their petals in flattery

"This is a very true insight, dearest spiffy Splfy!  But I believe this sacrifice is worth it. Fortunately or unfortunately, this reversal will only occur if everyone agrees this is to the common good however, so there is probably nothing to worry about"

"If everyone where to believe it was in the common good, we could likely establish a reset that allows us to continue to exist."

Sp(fl)y taps his glass tree times and meows. It isn't clear where he got the glass from. Suddenly two Artifacts are discovered on the surface of the presumably newly formed planet!

"Um, hello? Gods? I was thinking that it would be good to, uh, make a world which is good for the people we're going to be putting in it? Assuming that we're going to be making people?"
"Of course, all parts of the world should be living happily and harmoniously for the world to be a good garden"

Quote
Species Name: Buttercups
Description: Various types of Buttercups, from giant tree-cups to standard savannah-cups and aquatic lily-cups and kelp-cups and shrub-cups filling most of the surface of the Bounteous Domes with a profusion of various sorts of buttercup vegetation, nutritious, tasty, good-smelling and a generous provider of nectar and sometimes lumber depending on type.

Traits:
- Ubiquitous: Everywhere you would expect to find some sort of plant, you can find a Buttercup adapted to fill that niche, and even in several places where you would not expect them.
- Fecund: Buttercups reproduce and grow at a rapid place, rapidly outcompeting most other plants to fill up every available space with yet more buttercups.
- Pleasant: Buttercups are nearly the ideal crop, being fast growing, nutritious, useful, and smelling better than any animal will ever be able to, the slobs.
- Fateful: Strange coincidences, both lucky and unlucky, are more likely to occur around large quantities of buttercups. Stumbling into your arch-rival who was also somewhere else in the thousands of miles of buttercups and you would not have met normally. Happening to find the only buried treasure chest for miles when digging an latrine, etc.
"Also, those Buttercups are too territorial for my liking and knowledge, in a good garden all need to know to share their place with others, could they be either more limited in the land, or preferably be more spaced from each other and allow more to grow between them?"

Not all plants are beneficial. Indeed, there are many weeds that must be dealt with when farming.

That said, I do still suggest the creation of the Lowly Realms so that things may be separated into their own fields.

Toaa uses a mere pittance of it’s holy creation right’s power to create a species to cater to its whims.

Species Name: Cherubs

Description: A idealized version of a human child. They all have differing eye and hair color. They have little wings attached to their back which enables flight. When feeling positive emotions they shine with a bright white light.

Traits:
- Eyes of the Blessed: They can see through all illusions and falsehoods. They can also tell when someone has bad intentions due to a vague red aura that appears around the one with bad intentions.

- Holy Caretakers: They have full and complete knowledge of all servant/caretaker related skills such as cleaning, cooking and washing, writing and etc. They also have the associated muscle memory required for this.

- Miracle Workers: They are able to manipulate luck, making people lucky or unlucky depending on their mood. The more cherubs that activate this ability together the stronger it becomes.

- Little Charmers: They are so adorable it can actually be used as a weapon.

(Ugh, I had multiple paragraphs worth of RP but I misclicked and now it’s all gone.  :()

"Few plants are truly weeds, as in the right conditions and the right care for their surrounding almost all plants can be made harmonious.

And I would oppose separating things to their own fields unless necessary, as a greater good is made by careful mixing of all.

What is good for the growth of rice is rarely good for other plants. And those it is good for strangle the stalk before it grows and deprive the growth of nutrients. The Lowly Realm will help with the latter, but the former is still an issue.

1 Creation: Create Region
Alice levels her spear like a rocket launcher, and the head of The Pierce unfolds to loose a single chrome missile into the Unwritten. The missile then disassembles itself in flight, unpacking more and more material from within and assemblaging itself into a small vessel. Which then sets about, with mechanical limbs, building itself up more and more using materials conjured from a tiny, sandgrain-sized bubble of rulesless space.
Quote
Name: The Citadel
Type: Region / mobile habitat
Description: A massive spacecraft resembling a sailship constructed from many different metals. The interior structure is pressurized and suitable for habitation by humans or similar organisms. The ship's various systems which help maintain life support and mobility are powered by a miniature sun; a younger and smaller version of the great sunflower.

1 Creation: Create Several Magical Objects
Alice then boards The Citadel and weaves golden threads from The Pierce into a great many tiny machines miraculous in their function, and installs them into the vessel in order to manage its many functions.
Quote
Name: Computers
Description: Physical 'thinking' (but not conscious/willed) machines built from conductive and insulative metals. Some are built into other machines in order to manage said machines, while a few are small handheld devices called 'phones', intended to be a single being's companion. Computers may also communicate with one another via radio or metal wires.
Qualities:
- Think quickly: computers may complete thousands of calculations in mere moments.
- No creativity: these machines perform exactly the tasks they are instructed to, and as such the coder's mistakes will likely manifest in the form of bugs.

1 Specialized (human): Create Several Powerful Beings
Alice stops at one room in The Citadel in particular, a long hall with huge glass tubes lining the walls. She spins her spear overhead, scanning her own body, and then shunts that information into one of the computers controlling the tubes.
Quote
Species Name: Engineers
Description: Engineers appear to be 7 foot tall humans with marble-white skin and absolutely no hair. Like all humans, Engineers are constructed entirely from metallic elements, which act exactly like the non metallic elements of the real world but are classified as metallic anyways.
Traits:
- Spacers: Capable of surviving in very harsh environments, including the vacuum of space.
- Builders: Good at construction and maintenance. Adept at creating and using technology.
- Sturdy: More difficult to kill than usual.
- Creative: Capable of creativity and innovation even when not pressured to.

Benevolence without hardship is laziness. One must work the fields of life to find their goodness.

the stalks wave. Laziness is a mortal trait. And sometimes a divine one. And this law actively penalizes those who need more than they have, and those that have more than they need. A stockpile is good, but a common pool shared among many beings simply leads to a lower quality of grain.

Life without hardship is not living, it is existing in stasis. All things require hardship to innovate and learn. If everyone was happy and satisfied with their lot there would be no experiments or research which is quite boring.

Now I’m going to warn you right now, do not test my meager patience any further with your foolish idealism. If you want everyone to be happy? Maybe make some sentient beings before you start warping the very fabric of reality because of childish delusions. Honestly, how did someone like you ever get a proof of divinity?

(Hopefully you aren’t offended by this, I’m just trying to stay IC.)

Several of Butterfly Buttercup's stamen quiver in suppressed amusement.

"Oh, oh how this takes me back! Always the gods enjoy this good joke about how suffering is a vital component of being mortal! It isn't of course, just very amusing for us up high to watch. See how they clothe their schadenfraude in words of highness and righteousness! Fortunately, I enjoy a challenge in making my entertainment."

"Hello hello! Hey, we sound the same! Neat! You're quite clever! A world seems to be being made by the delightful VC, and it is indeed a good idea to have some people running about the place, or else things get so terribly dull no?"

Butterfly Buttercup swishes several Butterfly wings in contemplation, before the non-air happens to vibrate in a way that replies to the Gardener.

"If the Buttercups seem 'territorial', it is because they are currently nearly the only plants in existence, yes no? Being generalists, they will no doubt be easily outcompeted by specialists in certain roles if plants are actually created to fill those roles! So it might be a better idea to create specific plants to displace the Buttercups, rather than complaining about plants existing at all nono? Does that make sense? Does that not make sense? I certainly have not made them particularly aggressive to my mind, merely plentiful!"

Butterfly Buttercup swirled into visible existence, descending from the infinite encompassing all that is and is not. Rich and thick golden syrupy butter overflowed from its manifold petals. Butterflies eagerly drank of the milky nectar. The careful flapping of various wings may or may not have been related to the coincidental rearrangement of air or non-air into what may or may not have been words and sentences.

"Oh hello there everyone! Nice to meet you all! I am Buttercup! But you could just call me Butter if you like. That sunflower looks positively gorgeous VC! Very nice, very nice! Let me just..."

Butterfly Buttercup trips on empty void and accidentally scatters pollen and gobs of butter all over Vircine Chiropod's pristine world! Oh no! Even worse, most of the pollen and butter suddenly begins to move and mutate, turning into all sorts of new lifeforms, filling the Bounteous domes with a new ecosystem!

Invoke my two Rights of Creation to create multiple species of life all over VC's world!

"-oh no! How clumsy of me! I'm so sorry VC, I just wanted to give you this neat fruit basket!"

Butterfly Buttercup hands a clearly second hand fruit basket to VC, with all the best bits already eaten leaving only the less tasty bits.
Tensing at the faint whiff of paradox, the Vircine Chiropod claps and scrambles to invoke its Specialized Right of World Creation, retroactively creating the hollow world Butterfly Buttercup inadvertently but fortunately seeded with life. This job done, the Chiropod treats itself to a refreshing drink from the fruit basket while watching the amusing ongoing arguments and periodically looking at the additions to the hollow world great and small. Its audience is accompanied by bizarre and very much unexpected crunching sounds that don't quite fit the act of sipping juice from whole fruits.
Quote from: Unnamed hollow world with a sunflower in
Name: TBD
Type: World
Description: A nondescript hollow spherical world within which an immense sunflower grows. The sunflower, being a sun in its own right, fills the cavity of the world with light.
Spoiler: Preview (click to show/hide)

The Chiropod gives somewhere between four and six thumbs up to Alice's proposal:
Quote
Name: Law of Benevolence
Class: Universal
Effects: Probability over the entire universe is subtly tweaked in order to benefit those in need and minimize suffering. Fails to have any effect measurable by those who would abuse this effect.

Approval: 3 (Alice, Butterfly Buttercup, Vircine Chiropod)
Disaproval: 2 (Root of All Rice, The One Above All)

Finally, after draining all the fruits in Butterfly Buttercup's lovely fruit basket, the Vircine Chiropod plants the shriveled husks in the rich earth around the base of the Flower-Sun. With time and care, they soon bear fruit which splits open to reveal the hmmmsters, eusocial rodents with a fondness for sunflower seeds that will surely see them rise (metaphorically and literally) to unexplored heights.
Quote from: Hmmmsters
Species Name: Hmmmsters
Description: Small pouched rodents with very short tails and a fondness for sunflower seeds

Traits:
 - Hoarder: Hmmmsters stockpile food well beyond actual need.
 - Eusocial: Somewhat like actual bees, hmmmsters come in several varieties specialized for things like foraging and breeding/housing.
 - Arborial breeding caste: Differentiating them from bees (and hamsters, to be fair) is the fact that their breeding castes are sessile and resemble fruit trees and are typically also used as housing. This is likely to be controversial for some time among learned mortals, and those without access to fell tools of science may suggest that hmmmmster foragers are to hmmmster trees as oak gall wasps are to oak trees, but this surprisingly isn't the case.
 - Dance-speech: Hmmmsters convey information on food, predators, and competitors through the art of interpretive dance.

The dripping Amnesiac Archivist stretched and started making some mental notes, visibly counting on his tentacles.
"Twelve hosts, isn't that rather unheard of? It's not like I of all things would know. Some are a bit later to manifest than the others it would seem. I think it was something like this..."

Quote
Has manifested:
Vircine Chiropod
NOTWITHSTANDING
Butterfly Buttercup
Xe'kekxlia
Bartatam
Toaa
Root of All Rice

Alice

(...)
Has yet to manifest:
Hexapoda
Ferrous
Onti

Sitting nearby, the Puzzled Prophetess fiddled with the closed eye resting in her left hand.
"Whether they manifest or not, fate has resumed its course. The signs are clear."

"AAAAAAAA"

"Yes, the Unwritten will soon take form."
