We are the Twin Republics of Burnfield and Epensia, and while our government is composed of a legislature with many different representatives from corporate, proletarian, and academic interests, democracy has been suspended - we now owe our allegiance to the Great Leader, our Prime Minister, who rules with the full backing of the constitution.
