Not everything that fails to kill you makes you stronger; some things just scar, or cause pain for no great gain. The hindsight is in wearing scars with pride - scars are just scars

But is there no bigger joy in life than to set your dick on fire like a torch.
Set a man's dick on fire, and he shines for a day

Teach a man to spread his dickfire, and he shines throughout history

Moving back to the thread's intent, I have valuable Hindsights that may save other wretched souls:

I really should have dated more in College.  You don't realize until it is over just how great an opportunity College presents for dating.

In the real world, you encounter people of varying ages and relationship statuses.

Whereas, in College, everyone is mostly the same age, and "mostly single".  The College boyfriend/girlfriend is not such a strong bond as those held by people outside of College, primarily because people tend to move in together much too early primarily due to financial reasons.  And the condoms in College are FREE!!!!!!!!

CODA: The reason I had issues dating in College, and the thing that I think holds other back, is that due to the vast and plentiful options, people get picky.
You'll never see ugly on a College campus like you see in the Real World, so get over that shit and start up something with the "less attractive" while you have access to them, as they'll be better looking than the vast majority of the "most attractive" you encounter post-College!

I had to give tons of my things for charuty or just throw away cause after not a long time all those "treasures" turned out to be absolutely useless for me! About 80% of my previous life))) translated into clothes, hobby things, furniture, plants etc. It even seems for me that previous me is dead. But there was time I really believed in all those things that turned into rubbish", I thought it was my self-expression, part of me, my true life. How naive I was!

Related: Sometimes, you lose weight and get rid of the old clothes.  Then gain weight and scream "WHAT HAVE I DONE?"
It takes like 3 months to lose weight and 3 weeks to gain it.  I need more fitting clothes!

You’ve got to look after yourself before you’re able to look after other people.

There are a lot of “you’ve got to x yourself before you can x other people” things also.

There are a lot of “you’ve got to x yourself before you can x other people” things also.

It's easier to X yourself.

Eh, Good Times ebb and flow.  One minute life sucks, the next you're having fun.
I went out last weekend and I was in an awful mood.  Some blokes invited me to play darts, and it was !!Fun!!

Does that mean everything caught fire or did someone get stabbed with a dart?
