You know how in 2010: Odyssey Two they (think they have) installed a guillotine-thing to sever HAL's systems if they find that they might need to?

When I first heard the term "blade server", in no less but the context of a firewall, that's what I thought was being described!

(i.e., if the IDS discovers a hack attempt, a hard(ware) isolation system kicks in and makes it so nobody's gonna crack their way past a non-existent OSI Layer 1 communications link... ;) )

If the best way to stop the robot revolution is a garden hose, then why do people make it sound so hard to beat the robots?
