When the Marshal appears to talk with you, so does the Spymaster, leaving the shadows he was hidden in.

"M'liege." He tips his hat.

"My lord!" Says the Marshal. "Our Army grows in numbers week by week thanks to the funds we're obtained from the Treasury. We might have double the ranks at the end of this year."

"My liege, important information I have received from my agents: King Memech of Gon has met with envoys of Trist and Forc at the start of this Summer few times."

"And?"

"He has turned them away each time, and they left complaining about his hospitality." The Spymaster smiles insidiously.

"The rulers of Forc and Trist stand alone, this means!" The Marshal places his hands on his waist, the cape blowing behind him majestically. "And if they do, we ought to stomp them before they find support elsewhere!"

A) "Lets wait for the response to my letter first, we might avoid bloodshed altogether."
B) "You are right! The letter will confuse them, and in meanwhile we will already be deep into their borderlands!"

"A group of Pantheonist priests concerned about the worshippers of the Shepherd. The other group is a group of soldiers, escorting a noble lady from a foreign land, but they refused to say more."

A) "Wait, since when we have a foreign religion operating in my Kingdom? I must speak with the Pantheonists at once!"

Curious about the new religion, you decide to speak with the priests.

"The Shepherds have crossed every line of decency, my liege!" The leader of the priestly group says, and his colleagues murmur in agreement. "For times untold those worshipping others than the Pantheon were to go to our altars and deposit their prayers. And what did the foreigners do? They've bought an inn and furnished it into a temple, where they worship their Shepherd, so-called divine protector of all!"

"What's this Shepherding abaut?" The priest glares at you.

"My liege, five years ago you yourself allowed the goat-herders from the south-east to settle in our kingdom, and they've brought their religion with them! And they were fine to worship at our temples, alas, they did the blasphemy nobody dared in centuries! They ought to be punished, for their endanger stability and unity of Bailemarrian peoples!"

A) "Heathens undermining our peace! Rest assured my soldiers and officials will take care of them!"
B) "Eh, its just one temple. How bad could it get, really?"
C) "They ought to have freedom of worship, yet they should remain adjacent to our culture and laws! Let me send for their leaders to discuss this matter!"
