You throw a stick at the vines; the vines quickly coil and wrap around the stick, as if trying to strangle it.

You quickly decide to take the other path.

It goes down and it goes up, and wind starts picking up in strength. Also, there's black dust in the air that gets in your eyes, annoying you as you walk.

You start climbing, a pit of emptiness forming inside your stomach. You're not just hungry, but ravenously hungry. After you clear the cliff and step onto a large ledge, you turn to look behind you, noticing the dark forest below - and just in time to hear a pitiful rumble inside your stomach.

A) Fight this feeling.
B) Sate yourself.

B - We're on a ledge halfway up a cliff. Ain't nothing getting here without our notice unless it can fly, who knows how long it'll be before we get another chance to rest in relative safety

You decide that you cannot go hungry.

You sate yourself on your supplies.

The void in your stomach almost makes you groan in pain.

You gorge yourself on the dried fruit and flatbreads, almost biting your fingers as you eat.

There! You can feel your stomach being filled up. Just few more strips of dried meat, just few more bites of smoked sausage...

A loud burp finalizes the feast. You still feel hungry, but for now the feeling's greatly diminished. You resume climbing the shelves and cliffs and slopes.

After a while, the black dust gives way to freezing wind and delicate frostfall.

You are hungry again, but not to a scale as before. However, there's no safe place to camp; this ledge is all exposed to wind and snow. You can see another ledge upwards, but the climb will be difficult, and there's no promise a cave can be found up there...

What to do?

A) Camp here and brave the freezing wind.
B) Climb upwards and hope for the best.

Not only you scale the rock wall with surprising ease, you find a deep enough nave on top to sleep in.

Hunger drills your stomach, but its nothing compared to the previous feeling.

Next morning, you wake up to see the snowfall gone - and a small hovel built of cobblestone on the edge of the ledge.

Tiny trail of smoke rises from a thin chimney. How did you miss it yesterday? It should've been an obvious sight.

A) Investigate the stone house.
B) Continue climbing.

A - We need to find the cove this "seed of silver" is in, perhaps whomever lives here can tell us the best way to get there. Or maybe they have food. We're apparently heckin' hungee
