You send word to the adventurers (highly-leveled ones, thats it) that there's a giant monster that needs to be killed.

803 AD, Mid-Spring

A group of adventurers came, and, after being given a contract to slay the giant, left the castle.

They've succeeded in their task, but managed to kill the giant whilst it was roaming a particularily well populated city of Blabh. The giant's spine crushed many buildings and even more lives were lost to the decaying vomit-body and noxious fumes. Obviously, that has left many others homeless and quite upset.

"The adventurers were paid off, my liege." Says the Advisor. "But what we do with the massive column of gold that was the giant's spine?" The Treasurer standing nearby is visibly excited.

A) "Melt it down! It will be used to fill our Treasury with coinage!"
B) "It fell upon city of Blabh, so it belongs to people of Blabh. May they use it to restore their city!"

The city needs to be rebuilt regardless. Maybe they can pivot into a (highly-taxable) commercial center.

B yeah either we melt it down then proceed to use the money from it to pay for the city or just give them the spine and have them fix it themselves (probably better than we can do it honestly)

"A cartel, my liege." The Advisor says, stroking his beard while the Treasurer bows his head.

"The jewelry merchants and goldsmiths of Bailemarr have decided to create an organization that will stabilize the prices, set guidelines for quality control and, of course, promote elitism amongst those working with precious metals. This could be beginning of an economical golden age for our kingdom." Says the Advisor.

"And they're offering to strengthen the Treasury if the Cartel of Golden Arms, as they call it, will receive royal priviledges for trading and sharing of gold bullion and crafts."

A) "I was on board with this idea until I heard of this thinly-veiled bribe! Begone!"
B) "The cartel will have my approval, but they can forget about any protectionism and priviledges. This is fair trade country!"
C) "Money for priviledges? Where do I press my royal signet?"

A feast with close friends and relatives. Wine flows freely, the bowls and plates are full of delicious meals, and your maw feels like it must gorge itself on plenty much every possible dish today.

Suddenly, you feel someone's slender hand on your palm, pulling on it.

"My love. This is against the will of the Pantheon." Milka says, staring at you angrily. "Cease this at once. Pantheon wills it!" The people seated near you giggle and snicker - perhaps the word of your wife governing your diet is spreading? If not around the city, then at least around this table.

For three years she has been a thorn in your side, depriving you of your wants and desires. For the third time she is directly interfering with your eating - and right now, in public too. How long have you to listen to her demands thinly-veiled behind this too-often-used phrase of 'Pantheon wills it'?? If this continues, you're in danger of becoming a laughingstock...

A) I must divorce this terrible woman!
B) Just this once won't hurt, no? Besides, its a _feast_!
