You give the green light to the Marshal to push some idle peasants into military service.
802 AD, Spring
You receive several letters from the northwest. The noblemen who were affected by poachers and miscreants jailed few dozen of them, with another handful being cut down after offering resistance.
"And that's all?" You ask no one in particular, but the Advisor takes the question personally.
"I have spoken with the messengers who brought the letters. Since the miscreants were taken care of, there was peace in the northwest."
"And Kingdom of Trist?"
"Not a word, my liege."
You stroke your chin thoughtfully. Case closed, it seems.
802 AD, Summer
The audience hall is filled with screaming of two men who decided to seek judiciary counsel with you.
It's one of your nobles, Lord Kelkann, and Huginot of Perces, a kingdom in the far south. Apparently, Huginot was traveling around Bailemarr and was invited to Kelkann's house.
"I invited this man to show our hospitality, and he repays the kindness with insults, attempted theft of cutlery, and vile actions towards my dearest daughter!" Kelkann yells, before Huginot parrots his anger.
"You have served me cold food, and seated me at the very end of the dining table! And it is your unchaste daughter who was trying to take advantage of my drunken self!" Kelkann launches himself at Huginot with fists ready for a fight, but your guards separate the two in time.
What to do here?
A) Mediate a truce between the two hot-blooded men.
B) Side with the foreigner, mistreating a nobleman from a foreign land is simply in bad taste.
C) Side with your nobleman, its in a bad taste for a guest to make a mess of a host's household.
