The news from northlands are not good; despite food merchants being there aplenty, they weren't eager to sell much grain and dried provisions. In fact, little has been done to curb the famine!

A) Then we buy some more!
B) Alas, that's the best we could do.
C) They're hoarding the grain! Seize it and distribute it to the peasants!

C yeah what the hell? We bought the stuff so the peasants can have it you don't get to just refuse to give it them you greedy merchants!

Actually on second thought maybe the merchants have a justifiable reason for withholding the food other than being greedy bastards? (unlikely) Anyway screw it write in D send someone to ask the merchants in the area why the hell they are withholding food from the peasants

This, coupled with amount of grain already bought from them, should be enough to feed the hungry mouths. Hopefully, you will not have too many enemies amongst the merchants at the end of this.

"What's with that economy of ours? Haven't our land been blessed with gold deposits?" The Advisor unfurls a scroll.

"Here is a letter from the mines' manager - apparently, they were flooded and caved in by Dumborr loyalists at the end of the civil war."

"And he thought it wasn't a matter of urgency?"

"Apparently not, my liege."

You scoff - that man will be replaced, you shall make sure of it. What of the mines, though?

A) The workers are already working, all we need is some time and just a sprinkle of luck.
B) Send them money and supplies! I want wagon-loads of gold bullion by end of the next year!

Before you stands a girl, a year younger or two than you. She is wearing a plain dress, a storm of chestnut hair, and has a pair of brown eyes to match. The words she just spoke sounded like an insult to you, and all things natural.

"Care to repeat that?" You ask, your brow furrowing, as the young girl of peasant bearing stands proudly in the audience hall, your courtiers murmuring in anger and disbelief at her nerve.

"By the will of Pantheon, King Velarien, I am to be your wife! And so I, Milka, come to offer myself to you, as my duty demands it!" She yells with defiance and confidence, her eyes locked on you. The girl is paying no heed to whisperings and name-calling of the irritated courtiers and nobles.

You decide to...

A) Accept her offer.
B) Call the priests of matrimony and family to discuss this.
C) Refuse her offer.
D) Call the Archpriest so that someone with authority can divine the will of Pantheon here.
E) Throw her into dungeon and have the city searched for other lunatic peasants. Obviously someone's scheming against you using pretty peasant ladies!
