What happens when a person drinks the magic alchemy water?

It acts like you ate something of equivalent magic. It is a popular drink and cooking ingredient for Nobles in the Kingdoms, "Dad" likes to use it in his stews. It can also be used on food and other edible things if you want to consume a lot of magic quickly.

How is magic used for religious purposes?

It is more like using magic in general is done for religious purposes. The Faith holds that magic is a gift from The Creator and that everyone should practice it and be able to use it proficiently. There arn't many rituals in the Taleno religion, as they believe the Creator is "in everything" so you don't need anything special for your voice to be heard. Church is mostly just an old guy talking on a pulpit, holidays are generally geared more towards feasts and games, and while weddings and funerals have rituals associated with them they're mostly there for practical purposes. Like the burial practice involves taking all the magic out of a dead body so it doesn't go to waste. Or worse, make a monster stronger.

Do farmers do crop rotations? What crops are grown generally?

I think so, though I haven't lived long enough to really notice. Nobody ever leaves a field completely empty though.

On my parent's plantation we grow three main crops. One is this pink flower that looks like a head of lettuce but tastes really sweet, which is mostly used in this world like sugar. This is my favorite. Another is best described as edible cattail that grow without needing to be near a body of water. Those field kinda look like a corn field. Finally there is this plant that is kinda like a cross between a coconut and an almond. It grows underground in bunches of three. It is too hard to chew on and too large to swallow, but is crushed into powder and used basically like wheat.

Oh and there is a small orchard too! They produce two different kinds of fruit, one sour-tasting fruit with a lot of seeds in a soft shell and one sweet tasting fruit with a hard shell and one seed in the middle. My "mother" has a small pleasure garden but I don't think that really counts. It has a couple of different types of berries mostly.

And just since we're on the topic of food our diet is REALLY meat heavy. Meat from monsters is a lot better for you magically than fruit and vegetables are, so we eat as much of it as we can.

keep up baby exercises.

I now have the strongest neck in all the kingdoms! At least as far as toddlers I'm aware of are concerned!

At least I'm still at the point these are considered cute.

keep up baby exercises.

Do baby's even have leg exercise? Or am I supposed to be doing actual exercises now and just embarrassing myself?

Oh and I guess I should have some kind of prompt...Uh it seems like it is a good time to be curious. What should I try to find out about the world during my toddler stage?

Learn how to read and write - you may want to do so to take notes, even if you can always just send your thoughts to us and have one of us repost it on demand.
Also, you should consider the following image if you'd prefer living to see the industrial age:

I'm also using this time to test if images can be sent to your mind - Remember, always take the credit for anything this cheatsheet has taught you to invent.

I can "read it", but it is very LOUD.

I can't really do much about it at the moment, given the easiest thing it suggests is heating up milk and I can't even use the fire unsupervised yet. Some of this sounds...easier said than done.

I'll try to work on reading! We have a library in the manor that I can go to! With supervision but that is easier to get here than the fire thing.

Wow, that's incredibly stupid. Whose bright idea was this? Christ, it quotes chemical formulas as if that's a useful source of information to derive a synthesis. Pathetic.

The most important thing for you during this stage and for us as well is to know what your goals are.

Do you want to live a comfortable life?  Industrialize magic?  Invent shit?  Fix a bunch of problems?  Have an existential crisis that you reincarnated and accidental start a new religion?

You should figure this out now since you will be living with the consequences and what you choose as an objective will greatly change what we should suggest.

If you want general uplifting we can provide it, sounds like magic might help jump start or skip some things.  In general it could provide another source of energy outside magic that people can harness and use to fight monsters and build stuff.

In general work hard and plan for the future but be a kid.  We have no idea how not doing at least some normal child stuff will effect you emotionally and developmentally or make other see you.

Like I said we are kinda low on metal here. Not much iron to pump.

Most people here get exercise by working. Some people train for fighting monsters but I still can't due that due to being a toddler :(. How should I exercise?

That is...a really good point. I got a second chance at life, how should I spend it?

I guess if I want to live a comfortable life I'm already set by being a rich kid. As long as I don't screw up too much I shouldn't have to do much work the rest of my life. So I should probably pick something a bit grander right? But what to pick...

No really, what to pick? I need to consult you guys for this. I guess I'm more of a play it by ear kind of guy.

Rule the world, or at least enough of it to found a dynasty that can go on to conquer the rest in time.

I would suggest figuring out ways to increase prosperity and reduce suffering.  Depending on the particulars of your medieval society you could help a lot with even simple things.

Conquering the world seems a bit overblown but at least securing political power and ruling the colony isn't a bad idea.  You might even have more freedom to make a better society as a growing and prospering colony compared to trying to be a small fish in a big pond back in your homeland.

Exploring and traveling is a good idea, at least when you are young.  Lots of good ideas you can learn from other places and it will be interesting to us.

Also becoming a swole master wizard obviously but that can work with any other plans.

Rule the world, or at least enough of it to found a dynasty that can go on to conquer the rest in time.

That is definitely a logical endpoint. If I'm really ahead of everyone here by a couple of centuries I could totally do it! It is also possibly doing so will get me stabbed by a hobo, so I'll need a lot of help if we go this route. Both with you guys and in this world.

FIND HEAVY THING, LIFT UNTIL SWOL.

The heaviest thing I have that doesn't immediately get taken away from me is my toy spear (a stick).

Exercising with this toy spear has certainly made me the strongest toddler on the planet (maybe).

You want to become the greatest wizard ever.

Another logical endpoint, coming from you magic lovers. This would certainly make taking over the world easier too. Though I guess I'd still need a lot of help from you and the others to get that figured out.

Everyone around here is really afraid of traveling. Well I suppose I'd have to travel around the world to conqueror it effectively. I'll need a lot of firepower if I'm going to leave the colony to explore the anywhere. Assuming that becoming a monster's meal isn't another goal of mine.

Well none of those goals are contradictory, so Lets keep them all in mind going forward!

Tomorrow is my first day of school. My "parents" are pretty sheltering. Something about being first generation parents in a world where monsters are everywhere makes them paranoid. I'm not allowed to leave the estate without escort, and when we do leave we only really go to church. Now we're going to school. Which is at church. So nothing really changes. This is probably going to keep up for a while. If I want to do something not at church I'll either have to convince someone to come with me or sneak out.

I'm oddly muscular for a school-aged-kid. There isn't a lot to do as a toddler so I actually managed to get all that exercise in. Nobody really let me know anything about magic though. School will probably fix that. At least I think it does. I'm not really sure what they teach someone as young as me.

So if I'm going to make any friends it is probably going to be at school. How should I make a good first impression?

School is a lot like prison. Find the biggest bully and beat him up. This should be perfect for you.

It's up to you whether you want to take it from there to "I beat you up so we're friends now" or "I beat you up so now you fester with resentment and consider me your life-long arch-nemesis".
