You seem to have somehow undergone mitosis and you have a clone with you, in an attempt to understand what just happened, you harvest DNA from various microbes, the copy of you watching while you do this, your attempt to make a slime succeeds, you made not just one, but 4 of them. They start trying to eat small lab equipment.
