[2] Soft light emanates from Theodore’s hands, enveloping Hobo Bob [1 turn left duration, cooldown starts now.]  He then proceeds to scurry off to the back lines.  [4v6] shadow mephit two claws at Hobo Bob, but misses.  [1] the mephit is slightly scorched by hobo Bob’s aura [shadow mephit two -1hp] Shadow mephit one, an impudent fellow, decides to charge through the front ranks to get to Theodore.  [Reaction, autofail (heavy)] Raymond tries to stop it with his mace, but, due to the weight of his weapon, cannot swing in time.  The mephit attacks [5v2] [1] dealing one damage [theodore -1 hp].  Fixing his mistake, Raymond swings his mace and shoots [1v4] [5v5] [1, 2, x] [shadow mephit 1 -3hp] missing the swing but hitting the target.  Shadow mephit five, taking the opportunity, claws at Raymond [3v4] barely missing.  Blackhat flies up [gains status: out-of-reach] hexes shadow mephit one, a six-pointed flower shaped projectile whizzing into shadow mephit one [3 turns left, cooldown starts].  Aka slashes at shadow mephit two [2v5] missing completely.  Honestly, it’s just sad.  Taking advantage of the confusion, shadow mephit three slashes at hobo Bob, [6v6] [|x|]hitting but not leaving a scratch, and [1] getting slightly burned by his aura.  Hobo Bob retaliates, [1v1] [1,1,2,x] [5v2] [1,2,1] [shadow mephit 3 -8 hp] heavily wounding with his scythe and totally eviscerating the mephit with his sword.  The mephit falls in a pool of black goo.  A speck of light flies out of its dead chest, getting absorbed into hobo bob’s chest.  He feels something in his pocket.  [gained insignificant shadow shard], and the entire party feels a bit stronger [+1 xp]. It is encrusted with sharkmist and HMRC. On the item is an image of HMRC and Pancaek. Pancaek is laughing. The HMRC is melting. The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

here's one example of changing the formatting to make it easier to read.

if you wanted to take this one step further, you'd put in each PC's turn a short summary or reference to anything relevant to them that happens in a different turn. for examples from this turn:
Hobo bob could have a notice about recieving a Diving Blessing from Theodore, a comment about SM2 attacking him and his aura burning it, and abuot SM3's attack attempt and getting burned.
Raymond could get a notice about the reaction swing at SM1, and about SM4 attacking him (no need to give notice about SM5 because it's right after him, with no separating quote box)
and finally Theodore gets a notice about SM1 attacking and damaging him.

this method better?  i just realized that i was mis-implementing the divine blessing.  i decided i will keep it this way and will post a new description of it in the OOC thread.
