Hearing the beast-man’s offer of a shared adventure sounds exciting to Kongor, who doesn’t remember being invited to anything before. Kongor travels to the south with beast-man.

The artwork relates to the encasing of the HMRC in metal by Pancaek during the Mission of Many People.))

Day One: Morning
Everyone starts with 7 days of food. track it. Food will be consumed at the end of a day. This turn will be morning, next turn will be evening.

Try to find a job as a carpenter of some kind, if I can't find that go for whatever day labor I can find.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Each of those are actions that require enough of the day that you cannot do both at once. I'll roll for carpentry for today: (1 on a d20)you follow a couple of leads on various woodwork related opportunities. One opportunity in particular ties you up for several hours - taking you out of the city, only to find that the position was long past filled. You won't make it into the city

The beastly man growls a guffaw (finding the people working instead of hunting humorous) then flashes a wide toothy grin, rolling his broad shoulders and tilting his head to get the kinks out of his neck. "Welp," Greslarch began, first to speak up as usual "This civilized shit isn't fer a beast, interest'n but not fer me." the lupin addressed the other outsiders in his low voice then with a snort shook his wild mess of gray hair and walked away.

It was time he began his life again in the untamed wilderness; as an adventurer (Head South)

"Yer welcome ta come though!" the lupin turned one last time, still a wide grin on his face. He waited a moment if someone wished to join him then after at least a thirty seconds passed he began to walk southward.

Spoiler: Greslarch (click to show/hide)
please put your actions in white bold. Colors look like RP. I almost missed this one.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
These two agree to attempt to travel to the south for 'adventure.' You pack your meager belongings and 7 days of food (track that), and begin to walk. (9 on a d20) You assist a farmer who is traveling south with some supplies. You help him get his wagon back on the road, and he allows you to ride along for a few miles, dropping you off at a cross road as he turns westward, toward home. You have enouhg time in the day to set camp and forage a bit. the untamed south is 500 miles away. You've made 20 miles progress today. track that.

There aren't any generic "Adventurer wanted: collect 10 Wolf pelts" type bounty boards in this world. You instead simply ask at the local police station. You offer your services in fugitive collection or crowd control. (15 on a d20) You are offered a pay for action situation - if you aren't called on to help you don't get paid. In this case, you are called on early in the day to help quell a riot in the market. A few clubbings, a few bruises later, and things are mostly calm. you are ordered to patrol the area for the rest of the morning and are given 1 day's wage (track that. A day's wage is enough for food and shelter for one day or for food for 2 days.) You have the evening to find shelter. The soup kitchens are closed.

"Its been nice hanging out with most of you... Johnson gives a close look at the "people" surrounding him 'gentlemen' but I did not spend a quarter of my life studying to pass off this opportunity."

Attempt to obtain some specialty work involving my accounting skills every business needs someone to keep track of the numbers and avoid legal financial troubles afterall right? Should they already have someone... well I'm sure I can prove I'm much more capable than they are.

Spoiler: Johnson Windslow (click to show/hide)
Many businesses have folded recently, and there is a glut on the market for accountants. (13 on a d20) You are hired for the morning to confirm a count on a shipment of fish from the shore. you are paid 1/2 day's wage (track that) - enough for food for the day. You have the evening left to find shelter for the night or other work - but not both.

Try to find work as a messenger or mail-bird.

Spoiler: Jack (click to show/hide)
19 on a d 20. you are picked up right away by a government agency to fly some communications back and forth across the city. You are paid a day's wage (enough for food and shelter, or food for 2 days. track it), and are invited back the next day (advantage on tomorrow's job search roll). You have the evening to find shelter or do other work, but not both.

Anyone who didn't post an action, failed to find work today. they have the evening to find shelter.

See if one near where I am has a knife I could buy in exchange for food.

Try to find more permanent shelter.  Is there someone with a tree or a rooftop I can rent for nesting purposes?
