"The 1946 Presidential Elections were one of the most heated elections in Pankratinia in the first half of 20th century. All major parties' put forth equally popular and skilled candidates, and for the first time in nearly 30 years, the Elections lasted into the second turn. The Red's candidate, Pavel Kopcik, an economist from Poljavec region, was endorsed by Grey politicians. He ultimately won the elections with 54% of popular vote and became the 12th President of Pankratinia."

"Despite the extensive railroad network in Pankratinia, its electrification was postponed many times by several governments. It wasn't until Androj Szvan of the Yellow Party sponsored electrification of Porvana-Krunica Railway, the most important express route, running between Pankratinian capital and Porvana city in the Czervec region. It would prove the most profitable railway and convince Pankratinian Parliament to begin extensive electrification projects that would last all the way into the 1960s."
