It happens without fail. Every single time I open up my pocket world, train up my sneaking, kill a few flying monkeys while I'm at, then go to assasinate various goblins in the only fort.

Works quite well, until I am spotted. Then unless I kill the guy in 2 turns I get gangbashed and someone manages to explode my torso. I'm going to send wave after wave of adventurers into this place just to add a little flavour to the worlds history though.

Do these pathetic cherades happen with anyone else?

Yep.  Even with size 16 giants that have massive longaxes that can't even be held by smaller races.

All it takes is one damn axe lord, and you're in for the long haul...

Try it when goblins have been replaced with cave spiders, i can kill the sleeping ones but none of the wake ones.

Such is the fate of most adventurers really. I had a pretty promising hammer(wo)man, she managed to take down a goblin master lasher, several guards, and even soloed down an Ettin (With a hammer, none of that sissy vomit throwing). Then she walked under the wrong staircase and got shot right through her armour by a goblin master archer.

Adventure mode is very Nihilistic. Sooner or later, everybody dies.

And that's actually part of why I like adventure mode so. Your mortality rate is fairly realistic (at least in comparison to other games)

Your mortality rate doesn't have to be very high.

It's called save-scumming.

I had a dwarf attacking a elf archer and about 6 or so arrows missed, or just glanced off or he could block. When I am about 2 tiles away a arrow hits my dwarf in the left eye and appears to come out at his right ear. Ofcourse I fell over and got shot by a ton more arrows and died.

It was kind a funny because all the other arrows did no damage at all untill that one.

This is surprising, I only recently have started playing adventure mode and finding as long as you don't take on any quests for the first little bit the game isn't so bad...  I've slaughtered a few goblin fortresses and completed the vast majority of human quests in the region.  Then i got bored and jumped off a high cliff  .  I was ultra mighty superhumanly tough perfectly agile and i maybe played 20 hours tops.
