[Unlurking Sentinel]

"We had that fight under complete control, to the extent that a fight can be. Of that I can assure you." Even knowing that Abe-no-Seimei was on their side, he was still unpleasant soul to be around. It didn't help that the ally he brought looked distressingly similar to another despicable ally... and that they managed to drive the foe off before he could be caught. Or perhaps the foe's deception was merely more devious than anticipated...


"Tsukuyomi. Is there anything we're not seeing? Anything else deceiving our senses?"

Mildred pointed at Seimei.

"You're that scumbag we were talking to in the cafeteria like fifteen minutes ago, aren't you? Sugi-something. Well, all right, you're not that bad then. I thought for sure you were gonna turn out to be that asshole we were just fighting. Gotta admit, he does sound quite a bit like you..."

Mori quickly ran a scan of his memory and information to try to identify who Mildred was talking about and what information he had on them, while moving over to where Tsukasa had been knocked down, picking up Kanna on the way.


“Healers, get to work patching everyone up.” he said, as some silver mist floated off his hand and settled around Tsukasa and Kanna, ”And someone grab the shithead. I don’t care that you don’t like him, we’re not leaving him here.”

Mildred grabbed Daiya by the collar.

"I’ll just hold on to him for the moment.”

Mori looked over at Mildred, stared for a moment as of he was trying to figure out if having her carry Daiya was really a good idea, before finally shrugging and going back to healing.


“Not like he can get scratched up worse.” he thought, ”Or wouldn’t kind of deserve it.”

Akihiko almost stumbles, with Jin catching him and Saya rushing to support his other side.
"...damn."
"Aki-kun! I've got you."
"Yeah. We'll get ya patched up."

Rise looks up, as the ceiling begins to crumble, whatever force that was holding it together no longer present. Almost instantly, she springs to her feet, slinging Otoya's arm around her shoulder.
"This...whatever it is, it's falling apart. Tadano, get Kazami, I have Miyazono."
"O-okay, Koga-senpai!"
"We should get out of here. Talk later."

"On it! Follow me, Momotaro!"

He was hoping they could have finished what they started with the hooded kaijin, but evacuating the civilians was what he came here to do.

"I'd compliment these realms on their sense of dramatic timing if they weren't also pissing me off." Mori muttered as he started moving out, though keeping a close eye on Koga in case he needed to jump in and help carry Otoya too.

Shiro stomped her way back toward the exit, seeing that the other Kaijin had more or less taken care of business. She spared a glance for Jin; it was difficult to tell what she was thinking from it, until she gave a slight, almost begrudging nod. She'd talk, when it was time.

The Kaijin make it a door leading out of the Domain without further incident. Jin pushes Akihiko and Saya through first, holding the door for the others, before passing through himself as the Domain crumbles to nothing.

When they return to reality, the group finds themselves at a quiet part at the back of the school. In the distance, you can see Tomoe and Touma talking about something on a bench, and students playing football on the school's field. Saya sets about healing Akihiko, Daiya and Tsukasa first, before transforming back. Akihiko transforms back next, as Jin props up the unconscious students on a nearby bench, looking around.
"Aki-kun, you should be fine now."
"Thanks, Saya. I don't think we could've done that without you."
"...man. I still feel like yakiniku."

Tsukasa is the first of the unconscious people to wake up. He clenches his fist, looking morose.
"Dammit. We had him."

Mori notices that, although only one minute has passed, his phone has blown up with messages.

"Well fuck, I’m about to be murdered." Mori stated, checking his messages, "I’ve got to head to the theatre room. Kazami, you’re coming too, I need you to carry Miyazono. I’ve got Sakurajima."

Vasusena seemed reticent to transform in public, for one reason or another.


"Kasuga-senpai, check social media. Two simultaneous Akuma incidents had to have made the news." He turned towards the unconscious Kaneko Daiya. "Supernatural or not, I believe I am not alone in the sentiment that Kaneko's deeds today constitute criminal action. Assault at least, attempted terrorism at most. And unless another impossible surprise is waiting for us, there was a high school cafeteria's worth of witnesses to this incident. Koga, would you do the honors of calling the police, and telling them we've apprehended a rare demon of his own choice?"


"...I would prefer if you don't disclose our human identities, Koga-senpai. Not at this juncture, at the very least." Even without transforming, it wasn't worth trying to hide it from her. Not anymore.

Mildred had already transformed back.

"Terrorism sounds about right. What an idiot this guy is."

She dropped Kaneko unceremoniously, letting his body flop.

"Do we got anything to restrain him with until the cops get here? Actually, what do police even do with an Akuma?"

Akihiko raises his hand, to reveal the crushed remains of the Akuma Seeds belonging to Daiya and Otoya.
"Don't worry about it. I took care of it."
Tsukasa shakes his head.
"Don't worry about it, Honda. Without an Akuma Seed, someone like Kaneko can't awaken his inner demon again. If you wake up your inner demon like that, it doesn't come out easily. Technically, they're still awake, but without the influence of a Domain or a Seed, he can't come out. Why do you think the cops aren't too worried? They've never been in a Domain before."

"Two out of three ain’t bad," Mori stated, still checking his messages, "But what are we going to do about the third?" he continued, as he gestured at Sakurajima.
