"S-Sugiura?!"

Masaru Demura was reasonably experienced with lying, but not without preparation. The least he could do was start with parts of the truth he couldn't pretend to hide in the long term.


"No, I have not seen Miyazono, hopefully he was able to get away safely. A-and yes, this does seem to be a Domain, though it's something of a strange circumstance. Kaneko Daiya, member of the football team and known miscreant, used one of those Akuma Seeds... on himself, and took two other members of the Student Council with him. Koga Rise, and Tadano Riku."


"Now if you're still hung up on trying to be useful, go pull a fire alarm, Sugiura. Help evacuate the school!"

"Hell yeah, Misa! Let's do this!"

Mildred was just about to throw open the door when the sleazy guy made his presence known again.

"You should listen to Demura, dude. It is way too dangerous for you to be here right now, and there's no way I'm looking out for you while I'm already trying to save the student council."

"You guys want me to get help or something first?
He looks around, the sounds of distant footsteps walking out of the school.
"One of these here....I didn't think they'd be crazy enough to do that...."
Sakurajima Team
"Are you sure about that, Sawatari?"

Kanna idly rubs the back of her neck.

”Hmmm… change of plans. You meet with Veep and hang tight in the theatre room. I’ll look for Miyazono.” Mori stated ”Kazami, you can search too if you like, once you’ve finished escorting Sakurajima. I imagine Mishima is still in the theatre room, so you should likely relay to her the information on the situation. I’ll not pretend I can order her around, but inform her of my plans.”

He sent a quick text to Veep letting him know about the change of plans, before turning to Akihiko.


”Have you received any more information about the ongoing situation?”

Asking him to do anything sounded like a bad idea waiting to happen. Anything he could hold over them wasn't the right move. Still, could the three of them handle an Akuma alone while trying to protect two people? She had to admit as strong as she was she'd be more comfortable with another Kaijin or two at her back.

"...Not a bad idea, but I know who to ask. You go on and get yourself to safety."

She took out her phone and texted Kasuga.

It's Honda. Demura, Misa, and I are going to go into a Domain to save the Student Council, but I'd prefer having another hand to help out. Can you send one of the 'club' to the cafeteria?

Sugiura shrugged, eyes still on the Domain door. Suddenly, they widen.
"Uh, guys, the Domain door's-"

The door blasts open before anyone can do anything, a chain whipping out. Mildred, Masaru and Misa are able to avoid it, with surprisingly fast reflexes - the side effect, perhaps, of being a Kaijin - but Saya, lacking such a benefit, is only able to notice the chain when it latches on around her ankle.

"....eh?!"

Before anyone can react, Saya is yanked into the Domain, the young woman trying to grab onto something, anything to keep herself out to no avail.

She disappears into the Domain, the door slamming shut behind her.
Sakurajima Team
Akihiko receives Mildred's text.
"Sawatari, Aiuchi, they need one of us at the cafeteria. We should decide, quick."

Kanna suddenly stands up.
"Wait, is....where's Otoya? Did something happen? I'm going after him."
"It wouldn't be a good idea in your condition, Sakurajima."
"Huh? What do you mean? I'm not pregnant or something, sheesh. It's not that dangerous, is it?"
Aika/Shiro
As Shiro stalks towards the door leading into the Domain, the door opens to them without them even touching the door.

Within the Domain, as far as Shiro can see, it looks like an elegantly-crafted hallway, shiny oak floors, stained-glass windows peering into nothingness portraying the figure of a blonde pianist in various stages of playing a piano.

As Shiro gets closer, however, they barely have time to dodge before an Onibi blasts past them, thrown out of the Domain. The Onibi that was thrown out resembles a stereotypical biker, clad in leather clothes and with chains wrapped around their limbs, their head replaced with a burning blue flame. Another Onibi approaches them, a humanoid shape in black robes, a scythe in one hand, and the bow of a violin in the other, the hair frayed and the wooden portion burned. Their face, if they even have one, is hidden beneath a hood.

The biker Onibi doesn't even notice or care about Shiro or where it's been thrown, before pulling itself to its feet and rushing back at the robed Onibi, ignoring Shiro entirely.

"Well, besides your existent chronic medical condition," Mori replied "There’s the issue of that feeling in your neck. I didn’t tell you this, as I didn’t want to worry you, but speaking from experience, whatever it is, stress makes it worse. When I ended up in a stressful situation after I first felt it, I felt like I had been dropped face first into ice water, and then I blacked out for who knows how long. As for danger, there’s an Akuma on school grounds. That means Onibi, which is a fancy word for big monsters who’ll try to kill or kidnap you, not to mention whatever else happens. For all we know, you could end up dragged into the akuma’s realm. Now add how dangerous those situations are just in general, with the worry of you blacking out like I did, and we have no idea how any of this will effect your condition, and I hope you can see this is incredibly dangerous, and far better for you to just stay safe in the theatre room."

Mori finished his speech and took a breath.


"Now, further imagine what it would be like for Miyazono if you get critically injured in such a situation while trying to find him." Mori continued, ”Not to mention the fact that I have the duty of looking out for all performing arts students, and while I’m more than willing to go out and find Miyazono, I’ll not allow you to take further risks and put further stress on myself, Miyazono, and all the people here who are severely worried for you.”

Mori reconstructed his air of authority, placed one hand on Sakurajima’s shoulder, and looked her dead in the eyes.


”In conclusion, I both order and implore you, please, stay safe. I’ll be certain Otoya is safely returned to you as quickly as I can manage.”

Then he turned to Akihiko.


”You and Aiuchi can head down. I’ll head down once I’ve assured the safety of my people.”

Akihiko's phone pinged again.

Also Saya just got drug into the Domain. We can't wait much longer. Whoever's coming they better do it quick because I'm three seconds from kicking this fucking door down and going in.

Shiro barely resisted the urge to bark an expletive as the thing hurtled through the space her head had been just an instant ago. A pillar of light slammed down on her from above, and there no longer stood Akari Shiro, but Pyrrha, the Kaijin. She waited for the dullahan-like Onibi to rush back into the domain before advancing on the pair.
"Don't know what either of you are up to, but it ends now." She positioned herself between them and the exit, blade of light shimmering in her hands.

Akihiko receives Mildred's text not long after. His fist visibly clenches.
"Screw it. I'm going. You two watch Sakurajima. They took Saya."
His voice is clearly terser as he mentions Saya's name.
"What do you mean they took-"
Without letting Kanna finish, Akihiko is already out of the room, sprinting down the corridor.

The moment Akihiko is no longer in reach, however, the wall closest to Kanna ripples like water. Tsukasa is the first to notice.
"Kanna! Get away from there!"
"Huh-ah!"
A withered, black hand clad in black robes grabs Kanna's arm, trying to pull her into the wall, yanking her away from Mori. Before Mori can react, he barely evades a knife, hurled into the hand. The knife bounces off -after all, mundane objects cannot truly harm the Onibi- but Tsukasa bounds over the table.
"Kanna! Hold on!"
"S-Senpai! What's going on?! Sawatari! Aiuchi! Help!"
Aika/Shiro
The Onibi....seems to be more focused upon fighting each other than Shiro, not even noticing her. Shiro notices a few things as she approaches the inside of the Domain through the open door.

Firstly, there are quite a few pairs of Onibi fighting, the more industrially-themed Onibi fighting the robed Onibi, not even particularly paying attention to Shiro's presence. Secondly, the architecture of the Domain is....odd. It is clearly classical in places, with the oak floors and stained-glass windows, but industrial trappings pierce through; pipes erupting from the walls in unnatural angles, metal plates slapped haphazardly across the walls with rivets and some windows terminating abruptly halfway-through to be replaced with a grill, the sort that might cover up an air vent.

Whatever this Domain is, it's clear that not everything inside it is agreeing with each other.

That was fucking it. This whole situation was pissing him off. It was enough when the jackass who'd put an akuma seed in his neck had targeted his people. Then there was an akuma on school grounds and his people in trouble. Now, an Onibi had the whatever they had in the place of balls to target someone directly under his watch? There was a time for subtly, for him that had been the past decade, but now?

Perhaps Kasuga had been right, it was time for him to take a page from someone else's book. What had Honda said again?

"Just face everything head on."

Yeah, it was time to fuck subtly.

Sakurajima was going to find out what was going on in something like 20 minutes anyway.


"If everything is going to Hell, then I'll let loose my own demon!" Mori roared, as he placed his hand over his face, "I welcome my mask, Fantômas!"

Just as before darkness enveloped him. His body faded away, his shadow faded into him, a heavy coat formed around him, a cane found it's way to his hands, a hat appeared on his head, and a mask appeared on his face, but this time, the shadow didn't fade away as the mask appeared. This time, he could feel the overcoat lighten, transforming into something a bit less all-consuming. The hat and cane faded into nothingness, and the mask changed. The eyes and mouth thinned, and the material changed, from cold metal to something warmer. The shadow finally disappeared, replaced with a fading cloud of green smoke, as a small, leafy green looking kunai appeared in the hand of a figure who had taken the place of Sawatari Mori. He was a head and a half taller than Mori, dressed in a kitsune mask and a colorfully decorated yukata, purple and green with 9 flares of blue along the collar. A purple shoulder pad lay on each shoulder, and his pure black neck and hands were on clear display.

Barely giving a thought to his new form, Mori stabbed his newly gained weapon into the hand that had grabbed Kanna, forcing it off her.


"What is mine is off limits." he snarled.

Mildred felt two Kaijin roar into life in the schoolgrounds; from the feel of the energy that had been released, she guessed Akari and Sawatari were getting ready to fight.

"Fuck it, I'm joining in. I don't give a fuck who knows what I am."

A powerful burst of wind swirled around Mildred and flowed out in all directions, shoving away lunch tables and other pieces of school furniture; when the winds cleared, Proioxis stood before the door, two tables held aloft behind her by roaring winds like javelins ready to launch.

"Time's up. Let's do this."

Sakurajima Team
As soon as Mori touches the hand and wrenches it off of Kanna, four more pairs of hands appear, dragging Kanna into the wall with unexpected strength.
"Sawatari...?"

She fades into the wall, the wall rippling briefly like a disturbed pond, before solidifying again. Tsukasa stands up and immediately storms out of the room.
"Aiuchi! Sawatari! Follow me!"
Tadano Team
Mildred doesn't have very long to wait before-
"Henshin, Ibaraki-Douji!"

Akihiko's foot slams into the door, busting it open, in full Kaijin form.
"Demaru, Honda, with me! We're getting Saya out of here!"

The Domain before them looks like the walkway of a factory, overhanging vats of unidentified liquids below them, pipes running everywhere, with distant spinning cogs and gears visible. Inside, the scene of visibly different Onibi fighting each other can be seen, robed Onibi wielding violin bows and scythes against biker garb-wearing Onibi with knuckledusters. They don't pay any attention to the newcomer Kaijin.

Mori barely resisted punching the wall due to the fact he wasn't fully certain his Kaijin strength wouldn't result in him punching right through it. Regardless, he felt an overwhelming flaming hatred blaze through him as his body was once more consumed by shadows, one so much more intense than what he'd felt interacting with Mishima. As his body returned to his normal Kaiju form, he shot out of the room like a bat out of Hell, ignoring Aiuchi and swiftly overtaking Tsukasa.


"Get your ass in Kaijin form, Gawain, time if of the fucking essence!" he snarled, "And after this, I could use some explanations. Starting with the Onibi ghost kidnapping, and how to safeguard against that in the future, moving on to how to use healing powers to help chronic illnesses, maybe an explanation on why Fantomas has been torturing me for a week, and perhaps a pit stop, if you think you can, to who the fuck targeted my people and how do I INTRODUCE THEIR EYE TO THEIR ASSHOLE!?!

Pyrrha waited for a moment, then moved into striking range. She wound up for a powerful strike, then slashed, aiming to cut down both onibi at once.
