With the wave of energy flowing into him, Mori suddenly felt slightly less squishy.
"...ummm... thank you... I'll... do my best to see this doesn't go to waste."Mori shuffled forwards, awkwardly. He did not want to move closer to Akitsuki. He wanted to run. To hide behind someone else fade and hide. The adrenaline rush from that fire arrow trick had fallen away, replaced by internal panic and second thoughts.
"Mine was the only attack that didn't kill the eye. Am I weaker than everyone else? Of course, you shouldn't be in combat. You can't fight, and neither can Fantomas. You're a trickster, who makes others fight for him. You have no place here, leave it to the others. Run."But... the armored figure, by her voice he was pretty sure she was Aiuchi, she put some kind of protection effect on him. That meant... she thought making him stronger was a better use of her time than fighting herself. So... he had to move forward.
His stride sped up.
He walked past Yui, to the spot Masaru had given up behind Akihiko.
"Hey, Kamen Rider Tsuna," he said, trying to force bravado back into his voice,
"Look after yourself, will you? No idea what Akitsuki will do if you go down, but it won;t be pretty for the rest of us. Got it?"When his foot touched Akihiko's shadow, it felt... odd. It didn't feel like he was stepping on the ground, more like he's stepped on a film over a pool, as if he could break it if he exerted enough force.
"Huh? What's..."He pressed his foot down.
He didn't fall, but looking down at his foot, it looked like the shadow was spreading up his body. When it reached his head, he saw his body seem to... melt, or fall apart. His body was drawn into the shadow.
It was... odd. Looking up, he saw what he expected to see looking out of Akihiko's shadow, Akihiko's... underside. However, when he looked in other directions, the view was pretty much the same as if he was standing behind Akihiko, except... brighter.
He didn't have time to worry about that though, as something else seemed to be going on with him. A warm feeling, like the pulse that had gone through him when Yui had cast her spell, was bubbling up through his body, as if it was a balloon he'd brought underwater that was trying to float up to the surface. He wasn't sure what to do, until he heard something like a whispering in the back of his head. A word, or... more like a sound. A sound was being whispered to him.
"Huh? Ok, if that's what I'm supposed to do.""Kia!"A silvery mist rose out of the shadow and drifted around Akihiko. It moved around his body, before fading away, like it had evaporated into the air.
Fantomas to I-12, cast Kia on Ibaraki and Guard him.
