She wasn't complaining though: It felt great. Was this was being strong felt like? If so, she could get used to it.

He tried to close his eyes and let his instincts take over. They'd been doing it a lot recent, what with all the moving before he could think that had been going on. He breathed in and out, tried to not think, focused on emptiness and...

"Yeah, that's not working."

"Heh. What was that earlier about being able to 'work under pressure' where I could not, Sawatari? Now, feel free to pay attention to what a Demura Kaijin can do!" He rushed head-first towards the Onibi that had surrounded them, and fired a burning arrow towards a particularly unique-looking one.

"Ugh, of course it's Demura." Mori stated, walking towards him and Misa, since Akihiko had run too far for him to follow.

"Oh, I'm Masaru Demura, and I'm perfect at everything." Mori replied in an exaggerated version of Masaru's voice, as his body began to darken, as if moving into the shade, "My grades are perfect, my attendance is perfect, my conduct is perfect..."

Mori's body darkened into a silhouette before the shadow reshaped into a new form.


"...I even have perfect posture because the stick up my ass is so long and straight it keeps me from slouching!" he finished, now an exact doppelganger of Vasusena.

Mori looked down at his body, noticing it was... different than before.

"Well, I'm a shapeshifter. Really should have predicted that one." He stated, then, turned to look at Masaru.


"Hey, how did you do that fire thing again? Like this?"

He snapped his fingers and a pair of fiery arrows sparked to life around his hand. With a flick of his wrist, they flew, spinning around each other and leaving sparks behind them, at one of the eyes that looked like they had horns, turning into small pillars of fire on impact.

"Yeah, that's cathartic."
Fantomas moves to I-16, uses Master of Disguise on Vasusena, casts Fia on Despairing Moon D, and guards Vasusena.

For a moment, after the transformation, Marc'heg Gwer refused to move.

"This is... really happening..."
"In a way... This is me. Truly me. In a way, I do hate it. That this is, in a way, my true self."
"I can't help but think about shattering it. That image of myself that I despise. Getting out of that literal and metaphorical armor."

Marc'heg Gwer slowly turned towards the Moons behind her.

"However... For now, I can tolerate that it has its use."

She raised her axe.

"Because today, I can save someone. And today, I will save someone!"

Heavy stomps echoed through the vicinity as she effortlessly sprinted towards the closest Moon.

"Akari, Gawain, go deal with-" he paused, coughed a bit, then resumed "Go deal with the straggler winged eye, then circle around and take the rear of the approaching force! Honda, deal with the one near Kasuga and reinforce their position! Try to take heat off... whoever Mermaid Girl is!

He turned to the group he was standing with.


"We'll be joining up with Kasuga's squad for the last push. Any objections?"
