1 considers the matter of transporting suloy. Though there's no longer any atmosphere, transporting the mass out of Earth's gravity well using currently existing technology using currently existing technology and physics seems troublesome.

Drones are dispatched to scour the Zones. Various anomalous things are recovered. Though the Research Nodule isn't able to understand the underlying mechanisms and render the things non-anomalous, it does find something which can be used.

Tok: Anomalous item recovered from one of Earth's Zones. Has anomalous spatial and mass properties. Cannot be reproduced.

Exotic Matter simulation gland and Mast: Suloy organ. Requires Tok, minimum of 1.0 Gigaman mass. Allows for warp travel, with speed dependent upon organ's mass. Must be extended away from suloy to work, in which state is is vulnerable to attack. Can be used in atmosphere, but shouldn't.

Research nodule reports that Earth will become terminally unstable in 2.0 Kilocycle. Requesting merger and dispersal in order to ensure no loss of continuity.

Research nodule comes up with a drive to augment the EMSGM, one that's suitable for combat purposes, iow, one that doesn't need to be particularly vulnerable.

1 has been absorbed. A number of new organs have formed.
Suloy has gained a significant layer of chitin. Though this basic defense isn't much harder to damage than undifferentiated flesh, it may be repaired for free and with no risk of loss of continuity.
The interceptor hive can launch a large number of autonomous explosive drones. The drones aren't particularly intelligent or well-defended, but should be able to deal with large numbers of targets while doing acceptable damage to larger targets.
The mass yeeter is a rather simplistic muscular tendril, which actually resembles suloy's mast. However, rather than carry the heavy mass of the exotic matter simulation gland at its end, the yeeter carries a payload of stone, which it may fire with extreme speed and accuracy.
Finally, as you know the EMSGM allows for warp travel not bounded by the speed of light. As a tradeoff the gland itself and the Tok it holds must be held some distance away from suloy.

Research nodule reports a design for a chemical propellant drive. Though optimized, it's not quite enough to propel suloy beyond Earth's gravity well. This is the best it could come up with under the time constraint.
